The on/off switch helps prevent accidentally pressing the buttons. The device remembers where you last set each function. Included are 2 sets of prongs for either long or short haired pets. It's OK to use while raining but I wouldn't trust it (or any static device) while swimming. With proper training, most pets will respond to the beep or buzz, and static shock should be reserved for last resort situations ONLY. There are 100 levels of intensity. My 80lb doodle responds well around 40-50.The directions tell to not let the battery run completely dead, but the battery lasts for a long time (6 weeks maybe?) between charging and has a low battery red light indicator. It's a solid build.

Use daily on a goldendoodle. Able to change setttings to be stronger as he grows bigger. Rechargeable,which means no need for batteries. Collar is waterproof and holds up great while he is playing with the other dogs.

I ended up not needing this for what it was intended it for so I returned it. The shock works though so if you want it for the shock factor, buy it.

The media could not be loaded. I love this item because it has different options number one having a sound that just makes a beeping sound and it warns the dog and that’s pretty much all my dog needs. The second option I rarely need to use it just vibrates around the neck.

I am not at all happy with this product. After the 30th day but before the 90th day of use, the voltage connection (two headed connection for 2 units) one of the connections broke and then come to find out last week that the "static shock" part of the collar doesn't even work! I did not have a reason to even use the static shock in the first 3 months with my 5 month old Labrador until last week. This is a disappointing product.

The collar is well made quality to last, battery life has been good, full charge last more than 2 weeks now.So far I am impressed that my dogs caught on to the technology very easily. All I have to do is put them on them and they listen. For my dogs I only had to use the electrical zap a couple of times. Now when I put it on them, I use the beep sound, to remind them of the collar. It’s been great. The whimper all the time. It’s like fingers on a chalkboard after awhile. When they just start, one whimper, I put the collar on them and it stops! SUCCESS! I’m very happy with these collars. And they are easy to use.

Come with a double chord charger and it works well.

Review says 2000 feet range and I am hardy 50 ft away and it does not connect unless we are in the same space
