Detailers UnitedMicrofibre Car Wash Mitt

I bought this mitt to replace my Meguirs mitt which is starting to look a bit tatty now and this product looked very similar and had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a go.At £9.97 at time of writing, I am impressed with the quality of the mitt. I gave it a good wash before use to remove and straggling fibres which may be floating about. There were maybe three or four which is not a big deal. The mitt feels soft and has a nice elasticated sleeve to secure to your wrist. Other reviewers say that the mitt can slip off sometimes, I didn't find it to be a problem. If you're concerned with it slipping off, you can always spread your fingers open to prevent the sleeve from slipping over your hand.One think I'd like to point out is to be careful around the sharp parts of your car. For example, I have the "X-DRIVE" emblem on the back of my car and the mitt did snag on the "X" which pulled a few fibers out. The same goes for any chrome trim which comes to a point.I used this mitt in conjunction with Dodo Juice and warm water. All dirt, dead bugs and bird poo came off without a problem. Tree sap and some bug juice can be a bit stubborn so make sure you give it some attention rather than just a simple wipe on wipe off motion.I am very happy with this mitt and will definitely replace it with another in the future if needed.

Excellent buy, competes with the top makes. This microfibre wash mitt is top quality, great at minimising swirls and does a great job cleaning. Helps with retaining a lot of the suds. Definitely going to buy another one. I would recommend. Good value for money.

The one I was sent looks like the photos but it's not microfibre. It's a mix of thick cotton strands (the blue bits) and something man-made and polyester like (the white bits).Despite the iffy description it's held up well over 3 decent washes so far. It's not yet shed any fibres and doesn't snag on things like boot badges and wiper hinges. It probably does a better job than a true microfibre wash mitt would, as it's a little more aggressive.

Item arrived fast and in good condition. This product does hold alot of water. I did not find it too heavy. It is a little difficult to keep on your hands. Even though there is a strap inside I'm not very sure how to use that. However I am impressed with the outcome of use. My car came out very clean. I would consider purchasing from here again.

I have always used a sponge for car washing but, having just bought a new car with gleaming black paintwork, I have decided to change to a wash mitt to avoid swirls, etc which are easily created when washing dark coloured paintwork. After a lot of research, I chose this one and I'm very pleased with it. It's easy to use and does a great job particularly if you follow the "two bucket method" when washing. Definitely recommended.

I run a detailing company. I must get through2 or 3 lambswool mitts a month easily.This mitt proved outstanding in its first week of use. Held the suds and water extremely well. Great Price for an outstanding quality product. I’ve used the rival mitts that are double the price and this one easily beats them. If you need a hard wearing mitt with great suds hold. Get this mitt. You won’t be disappointed

Received promptly - bought two, one for each car.. Review delayed because I have only just used the mitt.The item is very soft and quite large. When immersed in water the mitt absorbs much water and is much heavier, although still usable. The size and amount of water however means that strokes of the mitt do clean a large area. It is easy to turn the mitt on the hand to alternate its sides when cleaning the car. Much softer than when using sponges or leathers and reaches tight areas that sponges cannot access. Hopefully there will be no swirl marks on the paintwork - only time will tell.

This mitt is soft and will not scratch car paintwork. It is easy to use and holds plenty shampoo to cover a greater area of the cars bodywork. Made from quality materials and is competitively priced.
