Dead Snow: With a car packed full of ski equipment and enough beer to fuel their escape from everyday life eight medical students head out on their Easter vacation. Isolated in the snowy hills the group begins to realize they came to the wrong resort, as deep in the hills lay an unthinkable evil. Gory, disturbing and brilliant … get ready for the horror comedy of the year! With time running out it s up to Martin and his new American allies to save the town from zombie-annihilation and defeat them once and for all.

Ein! Zwei! Die!
Dead Snow: A bit of a slow starter but it picks up after the first half hour-or-so. When I first saw this a few months ago I gave it a not very favourable review but having just seen it again (in a different mood and with 5.1 surround sound) I'm very impressed. Reasonable script, very good cinematography and special effects, an imaginative (if barely believable) plot and storyline, and superb scenery. The 5.1 soundtrack is also top notch and adds magnificently to the atmosphere and experience. So-so acting from some of the main cast and not that many comedic moments but it also works as a 'serious' zombie movie so that's OK. Four ****.DS2: One of the funniest and most imaginative zombie films that I've seen. Far from perfect but blows "Shaun Of The Dead" into the weeds. I didn't know that Scandinavians had so much appreciation of humour. Not a bad movie from a country not known for its film industry. Five *****.The special features are mostly missable.

Nazi Zombies in Snow.
So, I watched the first film on Prime Video and was very surprised by it. Took me by surprise because I've watched enough Zombie films to know what would happen but this one took me, again, by surprise. The first film was utterly brilliant and I loved the action, the comedy (much of the dialogue was very humours, unsure why but Erlend [big lad] just out-of-the-blue singing off the topic of his lungs "Mile after Mile" cracks me up for no good reason)The second film turns up the volume by a good 100% and it so much more action packed, violent, gory and everything else that I love about these type of films.

Essentially Evil Dead for the 21st century- violence, gore and lots of fun!
As horror comedy movies go you can't go wrong with Dead Snow. This package includes both movies and is currently a very good price for what you get. Dead Snow concerns a group of kids on vacation, in a cabin remotely in the woods covered in snow. Times are great until they annoy a group of zombies what's even worse these are Nazi zombies with a huge chip on their shoulder. The gore is outrageous and the violence is chaotic, for horror fans this is like a wet dream. The first movie is more straight than the sequel but there are plenty of comedic moments too. The sequel is almost just as good and keeps up the tempo well. The faults with the movie lie in the fact that this is on the face of it a rip of the old Evil Dead movies and the jokes don't always work, did we really need the Americans in the second movie? Well the fact is they only add to the franchise but yes it does feel like the makers wanted to market the movie more to Americans to get their point over. What does it matter, Dead Snow isn't perfect but for what it is these two movies are fun to the max, you'd be hard pressed to find a better horror comedy zombie movie that's for sure. Note: This movie is definitely not for the squeamish!

absolutely brilliant zombie fare
absolutely brilliant zombie fare. the first movie is definitely a low budget affair but makes up for it with tongue-in-cheek humour and fabulous old-school special effects. best foreign language film i've seen in a long time and also a great zombie genre film.the second movie begins literally where the first one leaves us, but is much more comedy first, horror second in the way it comes across.extremely enjoyable for fans of the zombie genre like me!

Fantastic! Getting recommended to everyone!
This has to be one of thee funniest zombie horror films I have ever seen. The first one was brilliant with a bit more emphasis on the horror aspect but no less a gory comedy. The second film went off the walls crazy taking the laughs to a new level!I would recommend this to anyone who loves a laugh and doesn't mind a heap of gore or mild horror!

The absolute greatest awful films
These films were so shockingly bad, they border on brilliant. Haven't laughed so hard for ages especially 2nd film. Switch off your mind and watch this ridiculous gorefest and you will still be telling the scenes to your friends for weeks to come.
