It does what it's supposed to do

I was worried being plastic it would feel cheap but I gave it a shot because my young boys share the same bathroom with me. Gotta say I really like this shaving bowl. Size is great and the plastic feels like a high quality dense plastic. The blue is very nice in person too. Makes me kind of want to get other colors.

Best shaving bowl ever !! Big enough for the brush to swirl without the clanging of ceramic bowls. The edges on the bottom help the lather to foam perfectly. Very happy with this purchase !!

It’s a nice size bowl an it not a heavy bowl, the groove lines helps to really get up a nice lather for shaving, I didn’t want a expensive shaving bowl just to mix a shaving cream or soap, otherwise ida got a bowl out of the kitchen 🤣 get you one it’s nice an light weight. use it until your ready for a new one or another type of bowl cant go wrong with this one guys..

Not sure why some reviews choose to bash this item. I suppose you simply can't please everyone. I, however, will say that this is the almost perfect lathering bowl in my opinion. I have tried the ceramic apothecary typse, the stainless types--both single-wall and double-walled of various sizes, the stone and granite types, and now this. By far, this is the one I would keep over all the others. While it won't win any awards for it's looks sitting in your bathroom--that would be my only complaint. They should offer this in a choice of colors.Now, concerning it's usefulness and function--the product is in a class of its own. For starters, it's some form of thick durable plastic that holds heat, is virtually indestructible, is easily gripped and firmly held with its outer flat edges, it will not dent, crack, or break; and will not destroy your porcelain sink and/or custom countertop if inadvertently dropped like the other materials. It won't harm the finish of your brush handle if it makes contact with the rim of the bowl like a stone or granite bowl will. The lathering ridges in the bowl are smooth enough that they won't destroy the bristles of your brush like some of the stone and granite bowls have the bad habit of doing. Finally, the price is quite reasonable at only $12, plus S&H. Having said all that, some earth-toned colors would be nice.Even better, maybe a marble effect of multiple colors like black, brown, tan, and deep orange. I'd gladly pay a bit more for something like that.

The plastic is of very high quality and is stiff. It is definitely worth the money.

The first Shaving bowl I truly like does an outstanding job of whipping up a lather! The lather stays at the bottom of the bowl, instead of traveling up the sides and creating a mess. If you haven't tried a Timeless shaving bowl its about time you try one out, you won't regret it. Highly recommended.
