What is the shelf life of this product?

Our products are good for up to 3 years from production. We schedule production cycles and volumes to ensure products get to customer within 4-8 weeks from production. However, product degradation and loss of efficacy occur after the product is opened and exposed to air. As such, we advise using a product within 12 months of first use.

Would this help with sebum/oily scalp?

Short answer: it should. Medium answer: though not specifically formulated for controlling sebum production, its herbal extracts, precious oils, and essential oil promote healthier conditions for the scalp and hair follicles, thereby resulting in a more balanced sebum production. Long answer: we suggest taking a more holistic approach to addressing your scalp sebum concerns. In particular, there are a number of studies that suggest diet has a profound impact on regulating sebum production. If you haven't already done so, review various studies and resources on this topic to see if you would benefit from any of them. This product is sold only in the 4 fl. oz. size. However, we do prepare a small number of samples with each production run. If you would like to receive a sample, please contact us on our website and we will gladly do our best to accommodate your request.
