Haven’t read yet but looks good…
The most frustrating thing is when you can’t see what the pages look like, they don’t wanna give info freely lol I’m assuming. If they let this post, you’re welcome. Here’s a few pages to see what you’ll get instead of ordering blindly. How rude that we can’t see pages in a book before buying!

Interesting book on dog body language
Although we expect dogs to understand our verbal and non verbal cues, our human instinct is often misleading in the interpretation of dogs inner feelings and motivations. The book of Gwen Bailey, an animal behaviorist, is a good introduction to dog body language. Each dog behavior associated to a motivation or inner feeling about a specific situation - i.e., fear, uneasiness, invitation to play, excitement, hierarchy, guarding the territory, and others - is clearly illustrated with pictures. The position of ears, tail, mouth and body; the look of the eyes, the rising of dorsal fur and others physical expressions are contextualized and translated into meaningful signals. In particular, I found revealing the different nuances of response to human displays of affection which are unpleasant for dogs (i.e., being stroked in body areas where they do not like to be touched, or being held in positions that they do not perceive as 'safe'), but are accepted nonethess because they trust the human. Overall a good read even for seasoned dog owners. Definitely adds insight to human-dog relationship.

Best dog-insight book ever (IMO!)
I Absolutely LOVE this book, in fact I’ve literally bought maybe 10 or more copies to share with friends, family, and neighbors. The way it’s written from the perspective of the dog being the writer-is insightful, enlightening, and best of all...hilarious! All which help me remember the signals to let me know what the dog is communicating. It’s a fun, easy read and I would say for all ages. Lots of great photos. I’ve had Greyhounds and some of my best memories of my late Greyhound “Slim’s” antics are on display with a dog in this book. Highly recommended!

Great book for kids!
A fun to read book for kids! The authors comments about what my dog is thinking are purely conjecture with no apparent basis in scientific study. However, that doesn't really matter. I believe that all dogs and other most other animals are able to interpret and react to human emotions. My dog knows when I am feeling happy or sad. She lifts my spirit and she makes-my-day - everyday.

The cutest and most helpful book on dog behaviour. ...
The cutest and most helpful book on dog behaviour. This book helped my wife see that our "baby" was not being malicious when she chewed the paper towels, toilet paper, slippers and shoes only to leave them scattered on the floor, but really just making sure that the scent of "her mommy" could be smelled all around as a way of protection. This is especially helpful with children, as the photos that accompany the stated behaviour allows small children to focus on what they need to look for and see in dogs. I have purchased this book several times as gifts to those people who have expressed some frustration with their new arrival (their pet) in their family.

Dog information
A great book for dog people. Plus for non dog people to learn about dogs. I loaned my book to my cat lady friend so she'd understand my dog better.

Great insights into your dog’s mind
A friend told me about this book and I was a little skeptical at first, but I’ll do anything for my pup so I bought it. Helps with training and behavior and entertains, too.
