Brilliant!
I'm fortunate enough to own both a resin and a PLA printer. The former being something I use to create miniatures for fantasy games and model dioramas. But I'm also slightly curious about how other makers do things. Thus, when I got the opportunity to review this set via Amazon vine, I took the chance and eagerly awaited it's arrival. Being happy when this arrived in an planet friendly, easy to recycle cardboard box.So, after opening the box and seeing the nice detail level, my initial thought was these are resin 3d prints. Then I picked up one up and got a pleasant surprise, these are made from PLA! Or more accurately a nicely lightweight PLA, with the models having an incredibly low level of layer lines. Layer lines that vanished under a few dust coats of acrylic yellow filler primer. After that they painted up well, just as well as any other resin print or injection moulded plastic kit. They also accepted glue nicely, so it was easy to add some foliage with PVA. I also liked how I didn't have to assemble anything, everything you see is premade and ready for use.Another positive is the price, with 6 pieces for under 20 quid, these are really good value. Especially when compared to the price for model railway models. Overall ? This is a great set, being particularly well suited for miniature wargames.

Good scale and design for D&D, etc
3D printed terrain - the stratification of the printing process really shows on these. Not too much of an issue if you're going to paint them; and the designs are striking enough that they might not merit too close attention. The scale is good for typical D&D miniatures, and would work well with comparably scaled wargames. There wasn't any significant issues with burrs or other manufacturing defects that would need some remedial care - other than the aforementioned stratification, an unavoidable part of the printing process.

Love them. Much better quality than I expected at that price range.
