Fantastic value for money
This is the best tool I have bought for many years. Has made architrave and skirting an easy job. Would recommend this saw.

I've been on site and used other "branded" mitre saws, turns out they all do the same thing. This one is no different, set it up properly and you'll get accurate cuts every time.I purchased the 10inch saw, it has all the features including depth stop, which is missing from a few. Would've liked the fireard rail feature on the 12 inch for space saving however.Replaced the blade after a couple of days, as it went dull quite quickly, but it was a good few days of internal paneling, skirting and archs. Lazer is accurate gets masked by dust every so often - but is expected, dust extraction is much better than others connecting a hoover keeps work area somewhat clean and it's quite heavy - but would you want a lightweight one.All in all, super happy with it.

Not faultless but great value for money.
Good value but has some desy flaws.Cuts through timber like butter.Double laser is brilliant but the cover fills up with dust. The dust port is useless and the little dust bag is pointless. It's fine in a workshop or somewhere that you don't mind making a mess. It's a little bit better with a vacume. The tilt and turn function is really good and smooth. The pull out side supports kinda work if they are supported with a bit of timber but will not line up with the base without it.The tennon function isn't that sturdy and takes some practice but even the more expensive brands like DeWalt have the same issue. The original rip fence it came with was bowed like a Gull Wing (manufacturing defect) so check its plumb.Lumberjack's customer service team were faultless in replacing that faulty part.Overall I am impressed with this saw and it is probably one of the best out there for the money.I did my research so if you need a 10" chop saw that won't cost the earth this is the one to go for.I also bought their thicknesser (not the planer thicknesser). The blades are expensive but it's a good piece of kit. And the dust extractor which is bulky but really powerful.

A beast!
It's quite simple to use, fairly easy to calibrate. Of course, not a "professional" (those are 3 times the price), but perfectly fine for DIY, and looking forward to more projects now. Cuts through wood like butter - that's what it's for! There's couple reviews on YouTube, and I found those quite accurate when the saw arrived.

Good quality, set up pretty accurately straight from the box.
Initially I was happy with this saw, but having had a guard smash, and then the replacement do the same, which also resulted in the forged aluminium frame breaking, I have replaced it with an evolution saw which is much stronger and also very quiet in comparison. They were also similar in price. Beware , the draper saw appears to be the same design as the lumberjack, so I would avoid them. I have had saws like this for many years , which have lasted for an average of 7 years or so, hence for 1 to break twice in a few months suggests it not strong enough.

A nice piece of kit
Ideal for a DIYer. Best to have it on a bench or on the leg stand it connects to. Not easily portable.

Top Notch Machine at This Price Point
For just over £200 this Mitre Saw has many features you pay a premium for with other brands. The quality is perfectly adequate for any serious DIYer although limitations would be exposed if used as a trade tool. The size of cuts this machine can handle puts it right up there with the big boys and it has the power behind it too.Out of the box, it's easy enough to set up if you follow the instruction book. My only real concern with the setup is blade alignment. It's not as simple and straightforward as the instructions would have you believe. In fact I would go as far as to say, blade alignment needs to be covered in far more detail than it currently does. Once aligned though, angles are spot on as you would expect. The clamping system is a bit flimsy and I can see some of the plastic shearing off in time, but, if you take care, they should be good for a fair while.A couple of points of note for those thinking of buying this machine. It's big and it's powerful, so you need room to store/use it. It's heavy too, so not one I would class as portable. As other owners have pointed out, the dust bag is a complete waste of time on this - get yourself a cheap industrial type hoover or be prepared for the sawdust to go everywhere! All in all, very happy indeed with this. It's not a well known brand name, but in terms of what it can do it's certainly on a par with the high end saws out there. Some of the fixtures and fittings won't last a lifetime as this seems to be the main area where you can see you got what you paid for, but as I said before, if you are the type to look after your tools, it'll serve you well.

Looks complicated, no it is,nt.
Ordered this in Feb 2016, unpacked it yesterday 16/11/16, wow!! straight from the box easy set up, simple if somewhat confusing book of words, why do they have pictures on one page and instructions 5 pages in, after the elf and safety pages, so your constantly flicking back and forth, oh well, as I said wow, a perfect cut straight off, smooth operation, bit of dust, bag got most of it, it even has a little allen key with a philips driver on the other end to adjust the different screws dotted around for adjustments, does what it says on the tin, simple, powerful, accurate machine for the DIY man as I am, or Pro man, in case your wondering we live in Spain, and my health is,nt brilliant, and it has been too hot for me to do any work until now, the delivery was on time!! if you want one, I recommend this, worth every penny.
