I have a small Fender Champ that has been my favorite go-to amp. Not just for practicing around the house but I have also been guilty of showing up to full-scale band practice with it before.After running into issues after modding a HotRod Deluxe, I ended up returning back to this amp. I had been considering replacing the speaker in the HotRod and probably should have done that prior to, or instead of, trying to mod the circuit board.Once I found this speaker for $40, I thought, "Why not, this is my most enjoyable amp anyway and I have nothing to lose." Since the champ is a closed-back amp, the installation took a bit of finagling. However, this has taken an all-around perfect amp and turned it up to 11! Well worth the cost and mild trouble it took to install. For being such a a small speaker, this purchase has turned a great jamming amp and made it into a studio quality setup. The tone is so much thicker, resonant and made it sound so much better than I thought possible out of an 8", 15 watt practice amp.I now want to replace the speakers in every amp I own with various models from Warehouse

Love the sound

These were great for two recent trips. One to Boston and the other to granddaughter's wedding. Not only do they hold the shoes nicely but I could fit two sets of women's shoes in one, and one men's pair in another. I was also able to pack some women's undies and socks in with the shoes. Yes I could us plastic bags, but these are just so neat and specific plus they are substantial. Oh yes, they were quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend.

The installment was very simple, just remove and replace. No modification necessary at all! The speaker is an exact fit. All screws (4) lined up perfectly. Completed the upgrade in less than 20 minutes. As for the sound, I was really surprised. The new speaker really improved the sound. The amp sounds totally different in tone and clarity! Deeper lows and clearer highs. I plugged in different guitars; Strat, LP, Tele, and even a Squire. They all sound much better with this new speaker. The amp (Vibro Champ XD) now sounds so much better that I've changed my mind about purchasing a new practice amp. This upgrade actually saved me money and the hassle of going out to buy a new amp. Best upgrade ever!

Nice product but material a bit stiff. I was hoping for a softer material to take less room in the case.

I picked up a used Blackstar HT1R (MKI) for an extremely low price and figured I had some extra wiggle room in my costs to improve it. One of the first decisions was to replace their Blackbird 8” speaker. I did a lot of homework between Jensen, Celestion, Weber, etc. But it was Darrell Braun’s YouTube reviews of Warehouse Guitar Speakers that sold me on the G8C.Installation was simple and this 4-ohm wonder added a better bottom end to the combo, even boosting the overall volume some. The bright, crisp highs were maintained while giving me just a little bit more fullness overall.I also tried different valve combinations between Mullard, Tung Sol, Electro-Harmonix, and Sovtek and landed on a Mullard 12AU7 in the power amp with the Sovtek 12AX7 in the pre just to give some extra bite, along with swapping in and out the Blackbird with the G8C.In short, this amp now sounds impressive with the G8C in place and I wouldn’t dream of swapping it for anything else.

Accidentally blew my stock speaker with feedback on my peavey vypyr x1, since peavey doesn't sell the speaker by itself I had to resort to an aftermarket speaker. Purchased this due to the reviews but it doesn't even compare to peavey x1 speaker. I play a lot of metal and there's no low end to it, it's very bright and scratchy distorted. It may be good for a clean channel but if you play with a lot of distortion look elsewhere

I built a Boothill 5F1 several years ago and had an Alnico Jensen in it which is a great choice. I ultimately used that speaker in another amp and just put the GWS speaker in the 5F1. It’s fantastic already and it hasn’t been broken in yet. Highly recommended.
