SEE UPDATE at end of review.I ordered these for my fridge because a bulb and light switch replacement did not fix my fridge light problem. What is great about these is that they are small--no larger than a cucumber as can be seen from the first picture. There are three to the package and each one takes four (4) AAA batteries (not included).I stuck two in my fridge side by side (2nd picture). The backing peels off and adhere easily. Since the backing has a magnetic strip on the reverse side, the lights are easily removable for battery replacement.I found it difficult to open the battery compartment the first time but subsequent re-openings were easier. However, the motion detector is intermittent and this is the reason for my low rating.I tested this in my dark laundry room and it takes about 20 seconds for the light to go out once motion activated. The motion detector is so, so. What I find is that only one of my lights comes on in the fridge (as shown in 2nd picture) and rarely do both come on. Also, if I close the door and open it after the 20 seconds is up, then sometimes the act of the other light going out causes the motion sensor in the next light to be activated. Unfortunately, one light was not sufficient for my fridge. I woud use all three of them if I had another place to put it.The light generated is not too bright; like a low-level flashlight but it is good enough and better than a dark fridge. If the motion sensors worked all the time, I would have rated this 5 stars. Overall, I am disappointed and only marginally satisfied.UPDATE August 25, 2018 - Their lights may work 100% of the time; however, for my purpose as a refrigerator light that has not been my experience. I was contacted by the vendor who is issuing me a refund. The lights have an energy saving feature whereby if it detects light, the sensor will cause it not to light up. Therefore, by putting two lights in the fridge, only one will light up. However, after removing one light , it still does not come on all of the time. Sometimes I open the fridge and the light is off. I then close the fridge and open it again--like when I am removing a gallon of milk only to pour myself a glass and then put it back in the fridge. When I open the fridge again, the light may come on. It is as if the sensor needed a fanning motion of the door opening and closing a couple of times to detect movement. Nevertheless, based on the other reviewers experiences, I believe these lights will work beautifully in the right conditions and if they do not work, the vendor stands behind their product. Customer service is 5 stars.

Good lights for the price. Good for confined areas

I have tried more than a few different types of light to light the inside of some special cabinets and have not been satisfied. Then, I ordered the Peak+lus lights. Not only am I completely happy with the quality and operation of the lights, I fount the customer service to excellent. Of the six 3packs of lights that I bought (18 lights total) two of the mounting tape magnets had a small issue. Customer service took care of it immediately and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the lights and the company.

These are great little lights, there are several features that are beyond what I expected given the reasonable price for a set of three, like the fact that one you stick this up, using the adhesive, to remove it for battery replacement the entire unit is ALSO on a magnetic strip, so piece of cake to remove. That's nice! Though it takes 4 AAA batteries each, they all go in the same way, along the entire length of the unit, easy in and out.My ONLY objection to this, the reason I dropped a star, is that I could not use them as I intended to - as lights under my kitchen cabinets - because they are TOO motion sensitive. I envisioned something I could wave my hand under and presto, light for a bit. Nope, these turn on even if I merely APPROACH the kitchen cabinet, and that's even with the sensor purposefully mounted under the lip of the upper cabinet, so it has NO direct view to someone approaching. ?? I can only speculate it's being triggered by reflection on the counter of someone approaching, or off the backsplash or ?? Not sure, but it's so sensitive it ends up staying on a LOT, and God forbid the cats start prowling the kitchen, they're on nonstop. I also dropped a star on the "brightness" rating, because they do the job but are not nearly as bright as I'd hoped.On the upside, I was able to use them, mounting them inside the door of three very dark closets, where they work perfectly, activating when I open the door, going off shortly after I close them.

They light up my safe adequately. Buy 12 AAA batteries.

I’m a repeat customer so I like these lights. But….the 4th battery often gets stuck and impossible to get out. If u remove the end where it’s stuck it’s broke because it is not meant to come off. A lot of people may think the light isn’t very bright if they don’t realize the 4th battery is stuck and you really only changed out 3 of the 4 batteries. Just make sure you get 4 out.

Funcionan muy bien. Lo queria para iluminación extra interior del refri, pero como sólo prenden en la obscuridad no son aptas ya que primero enciende la luz propia del refri y no se activan. Lástima. Si las quieres como fuente de iluminación adicional por ejemplo en tu cocina, bajo gabinetes, debes considerar primero que no encenderán de día y segundo, en la noche sí, con muy buena luz, pero tienes que darle un momento para que te detecte a tí antes de encender la luz o no se encienden ya que detectan la luz primero. El hecho de que se peguen y no traiga un repuesto de pegatina limita un poco ya que no puedes experimentar su funcionamiento en distintas posiciones y orientaciones. Tienes que pensar muy bien dónde la vas a poner permanentemente y probarla antes de pegar. Para closets creo que es su propósito más adecuado

He estado buscando alguna opción de luces para mi armario de baterías, pensé por los buenos recomendaciones, que esta era una buena opción. Compre el paquete de tres, para tener todo el armario iluminado, pero no fue así. Muy baja la luz, cada lampara requiere 4 pilas triple a, cada una, 12 pilas para las 3 lamparas. Una lampara de Walmart de 50 pesos ilumina más. A lo mejor sirve para un cajón de un armario, pero no para un armario tal cual.

They only lit up the first day and that was it. I've changed the batteries I can't tell you how many times. Awful I'm so disappointed. These were very expensive and unsatisfactory

Lo puse en mi cocina y al principio sirvió un poco y después de varios días ya no se volvieron a encender .
