Heats up pretty quickly, not sure if it’s 10 seconds but it was fast. There’s a little light that stops flashing when it’s heated up which is cool. The temperature control is great, my last straighteners were basic and did not have temperature adjustment so this is a real treat. I use 190 for my hair which seems to work well but it’s easy to change it if you need a higher temperature. It looks very good, and the case it comes with feels very high quality, as do the straighteners themselves. They don’t feel very heavy and are a decent size to get hair done in decent amounts and very easily. The cable is also very long, I think it’s the longest cable I’ve ever had in a pair of straighteners to be honest. My plug point is on the floor and I moved a couple feet away from it and kneeled so I could see myself in my mirror (I have the worst mirror placement I know) with no problems. Considering my last straighteners meant I had to sit on the floor next to the plug and place a different wall mirror opposite me, also on the floor because the cable was too short otherwise, this is certainly a breath of fresh air.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and, while it’s not one of the most expensive, it is more than I’ve paid for a pair in many years, but, so far at least, it’s been worth it

Had one previously and it’s a great set of straighteners

I purchased these for an emergency pair for my partner after her ones had broke. Me, a clueless guy, spent some time reading the reviews and came across one that mentioned how they were always a GHD user but these were much better. Apparently, this review was quite accurate and she absolutely loves these straighters (more than her normal pair). She uses them for curling and they are much easier to use.They come in a heat proof carry bag and heats up really quickly (seconds).

This review is for the “ Remington Hair Straightener (Advanced Ceramic Ultimate Coating with Long 110mm Floating Plates, LCD Screen, 150-235°C, Temperature Boost Function, Storage Pouch Included) Rose Pearl S9505”I used this on day 3 hair and found that it straightened my resistant hair at 200 degrees c without kinks and without my hair reverting to frizz and curls. For reference I have porous, resistant, super frizzy 3A hair.It has a good variety of heat settings 150-235 deg c.I like the little pouch this comes with it makes storage so much easier. It’s also a nice looking device although I think the black cable lets it down. A decent straightener for a fair price.

That my hair is fine and grey. They are so easy to use..And my hair doesn’t turn yellow in places because I can use the lowest setting and my hair turns out smooth.

Love this hairstyler.. simple and easy .. you are in charge of how much heat you want .. I use it every day
