This storage lift is well built and well designed. The instructions were easy to follow and the unit works as the manufacturer outlined. I only bought one of these units but we will likely buy a few more once we finish reorganizing our stuff.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with this lift system! A friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a try. The design is incredibly clever—while it’s a bit pricier than a stationary garage storage rack, the ability to easily lift and lower the platform makes it worth every penny.My garage ceiling is 12 feet high, so there’s plenty of clearance, and it doesn’t interfere with opening or closing the car doors. I installed it above my garage door, and it’s been a game-changer.The installation process took about 3 hours. It’s very straightforward, but I highly recommend planning ahead by locating and marking the joists before you begin. Make sure to read through the entire manual before starting—it really helps!I use my DeWalt drill to raise and lower the lift, and it handles about 150 pounds with ease. I’m so impressed that I’m already considering buying two more for the other side of the garage door!Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to maximize their garage storage space efficiently!

The idea is great but the gear box to raise/lower the rack keeps getting jammed up and sometimes makes a bunch of grinding noises. I bought 4 of these racks and spent the time installing them. Now I am super disappointed that the gearing mechanism seems cheap and does not function very well. They have a 250 lbs limit and I am no where near that limit. This should not be happening with such a light load.

The media could not be loaded. I installed two of these lifts in my garage. The 5/16 bolts that came with the kit are junk. So I went to Home Depot and purchased new bolts. My recommendation is to buy 1/4 lug bolts - 2 inch bolts, especially if you’re using an impact wrench to install the I must’ve snapped off at least eight or nine of the heads and had to drill new holes to replace the bolts. Other than that, the lips work really great and the lift system is nice and smooth. I looked at installing electric units for 10 times the price and I am glad that I ended up picking up these units. I wish that they had made a 4 x 6 unit and could figure out a way so that the two units could be next to eachother on the same rafter.I laid everything out on my living room floor and assembled it there. The instructions were good and easy to followThe instructions say that the measurements need to be exactly 48 inches apart, but there is maybe 3/4 of an inch leeway in that measurement when mounting the supports to the rafters.Overall love the product and would recommend it

The Kokoracker overhead storage solution was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to utilize more of the overhead space in the garage to store items not used very frequently (i.e. holiday decorations). This system gave me about 50 cf of storage space (4ftx4ftx3ft), which was plenty for what I needed.Since I had access to the attic space over the garage, I was quickly able to validate the 48in spacing requirements to secure the system across the ceiling studs prior to purchasing. The instructions were very easy to follow, so no misinterpretation of how the system goes together and the order each piece needs to be assembled. The overall installation took a few hours, which involve going up & down the ladder many times.During the installation I discovered that one of the cables had a manufacturing defect. I contacted customer support via e-mail and received a response within a few hours. They apologized for the problem, and expressed mailed a replacement part that arrived within a few days.At this point, I’m very pleased with the solution and very pleased they stand behind their product with great customer service.

I have about 125 lbs on it currently, and I did put a spare piece of plywood underneath my equipment before putting it on the rack. The grate that comes with it is functional but the plywood allows stuff to easily slide off without getting caught up. It goes up and down easily. Balancing it took a couple of adjustments but it’s easy. I traded out the lags for longer ones because my ceiling was corrugated otherwise would have used the ones supplied.
