Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam, Conditions + Controls Frizz, For All Hair Types

My go-to hair mousse. A brand you CAN trust. No strong fragrance either.
My go-to hair product. I can add a bit of water to my hair for the next day, for my hair to still stay in place. I love that it doesn't leave my hair crunchy or stiff. It's a low fragrance for those like me who don't like a lot of products that smell. Once I found this at my local hair salon many years ago, I've been using this product ONLY ever since. Sadly, my hair salon went out of business, so I'm glad that I'm able to find it on Amazon.

Great value for my hair type
Paul Williams products have usually worked well for me, and this one is no exception. I have short hair, just beneath my ears, and the Extra Sculpting Foam over-conditioned it, no matter how little I used. It’s probably great for long hair. This version is lighter and works better with my short, fine, straight hair. And, dare I say, much less $$$ for considerably larger quantity.

Great product
I'm a curly-headed Caucasian living in Florida. My frizz is out of control. After conversing with my Salon, they suggested this. It was on sale so i bought 2. Great deal and great product. 10/10

Easy to Use
I've been using this product for years and love it. Easy to use and doesn't make my hair difficult to comb or brush the next day. It's not sticky or greasy, hair feels clean and I like the results.

Coconut is nice, product is ok . . .
Nice coconut scent, runny-ish but white-foamy after shaking and spraying with can in upside-down position, as directed. Not quite sure what all the hype is all about, but I've only had (long, below-shoulder) mild/moderately frizzy hair for 5-ish years (post-menopause, about 35% gray, dyed with quality salon Alfaparf Milano; used to be naturally dark, straight, silky, shiny). Have been using whatever (mousse my teens didn't use--including Paul Mitchell, Sauve, whatever . . . and derm-sample moisturizers) for the most part. I mostly use this tall (heavy) can of coconut product for the smell (hoping it doesn't attract problem pests) and sometimes just out of continued curiosity. Can make my hair temporarily stiff where applied. Haven't noticed any residue on my pillowcase, no problematic build-up. Unclear whether this works better to tame frizz than old Suave or Paul Mitchell mousse products in my kids' bathroom abandoned a decade ago, Aquaphor, not washing my hair for a week, etc. I get more shine from pricey Kevin Murphy products, like oily Young Again and Re-Store 2-in-1. Still searching for a magic cure . . . or a bargain top Hollywood stylist for aging stars . . . [dream, dream]

This one doesn’t irritate my scalp
I’ve tried several brands of mousse and this one seems to work best for my somewhat curly/wavy hair. Many seem to cause my scalp to itch, but this one doesn’t. Hair products really vary, but this one is just right for me to give some added volume.

Good Stuff
I use it after every hair washing. Dampening hair will boost the curls and body whenever necessary.
