Have managed to do several excellent mounts but it does require strength to use and best for right handlers.There is nothing in the instructions to tell you to adjust the cutting depth - with the screw marked in photo.After adjusting the cutting depth so it only cuts through the mount and a piece of normal paper (80gsm) it is much easier to use.It has also been possible to recut mounts as long as you put some scrap in the old cutout to support the cutter.All in all well worth having despite the minor problems.

Definitely no blades supplied with this product. Other reviews say they are in the handle. There is no handle. Save yourself time and buy a pack when you order this product. Otherwise good quality. Sturdy. Arrived as promised.

Hard to hold steady.

Bought this to replace a cheaper version - I only wish I had gone for this one in the first place. Cutting mounts is much more accurate due to the blade guide and adjustable depth of cut. the cutter also has very positive location in the ruler guide to ensure a straight cut. Included trimming knife is a bonus.

Very useful. But a lot of money for what you get. After some practice works okay.

1. I received the item after 2 months.2. Even, this item is defective. The blade is thicker than the slit. The blade cannot go through the slit.

A word of advice - read the instruction properly before using the bevel cutter - get it the right way round. The results are great. My paintings look so much better when properly mounted and framed. A well designed product, simple and easy to use if you take your time and concentrate!
