POSITIVE UPDATE - Disconnects often. Dex does not find the device.
Below this is my initial review. I'm happy to say it no longer applies to this product! After a software update, the unit functions perfectly as intended. This is an insanely cool product, and as far as I know the only one of it's kind. Not only is this a solid wireless android auto adapter, but dex in your car?! So cool. Connection works, audio works, doesn't disconnect. Looks like this issues have been resolved, but don't stop improving! Keep the updates coming. 5 Stars all the way. Well done.________________________________________________________________________________________I want to preface this review by saying I work in IT, have been rooting and flashing roms on android phones since the original droid, and am no slouch when it comes to tech, so this is not a case of user error.Dang. This would have been AWESOME if it had worked. I don't even care that the icons are small and the screen is a little distorted. The fact that you have a full DEX in your car would have been great. However, too good to be true.-Disconnects every 30 seconds or so. Making it completely unusable.-After update, could not even discover via dex-SLOW (again, wouldn't have care, if it has stayed connected)-Audio did not work.Again, amazing IDEA, but unfortunately it's just a prototype that isn't ready for the real world. Can't wait until they get this to work, I'll be first in line for the working model, but this ain't it. Wait another year or so and maybe they'll have a solid release, and HOPEFULLY some competition. The tech is clearly possible, just not even close to ready for a wide release.2 stars because even though it didn't work, it's a cool idea I hope gets fleshed out.

FORD Sync 3 YES - Hyundai NO
ANDROID AUTO AND DEX Works with FORD sync 3 almost perfect. Only messes up when switching phones. NOT a good fit for my Multiple Hyundai systems. DEX works, but Android auto is horrible to get connected each boot up. Too many hrs invested in customer support or trouble shooting to count.

Overcomes Android Auto limitations
I recently bought a used Nissan Rogue which came with Android Auto. I was bummed that it required you to plug your device in so I started searching for a device that would allow me to connect wirelessly. I found and bought the Terunsoul Android Auto device. It worked nicely but when I realized that a small subset of my apps could display on Android Auto, I wanted more. So with a little research I found this device. I use it with my Samsung Galaxy Fold 6. It uses Samsung's DEX program, which supposedly allows you to use your phone like a laptop. So I got a wireless keyboard and brought it out to my car. So, starting with the DEX experience, I was happy that it works great. You can use your phone as a track pad, which is far superior to the built-in touchscreen functionality on the car screen. Netflix and other streaming apps worked fine, making the device worth purchasing for that reason alone. I did try to use Word and my wireless keyboard to edit documents, but found that there was too much lag to make it worthwhile. When you first connect (I e., when turning the car on), you have to choose between Android Auto and DEX. Android Auto is the default. I have found that occasionally it doesn't load, but usually it does. The Android Auto seems to work as well as the hardwired version. In Dex mode, you can open multiple windows with different apps. I always like to make use of as many capabilities as my devices have and am happy that I can use most of the features of my infotainment system and my Samsung when I am in my car.
