Worth It’s Weight in Gold – To Make “Youth in a Bottle”
I received this today, I had been anticipating its arrival and had my seltzer water all ready – to make my own mag bicarb water. I followed the recipe given ny reviewer LarryD (the 2nd top review for this product), adding 2 tsp of this powder to 1 litre of seltzer water (see my posted pictures). I have to really thank him for such clear instructions. It worked out beautifully and I tested the pH of my water after adding 11 oz of the resulting concentrate to 1 gallon of structured water (hexagonal, hydrogen rich, shungite water) . It came out between 8.0 and 9.0 pH. I couldn’t believe it. NOTHING I have tried has given me such a pH before. Now I do know that the pH of water matters not entirely. One has to ask the question why the water is alkaline. In this case, I know that I am drinking water rich in magnesium bicarbonates – replenishing the bicarbonates in my blood and helping my body continuously rid itself of new and stored acidic wastes. I am so thrilled. This product makes it so easy to do. From all I have read about replenishing bicarbonates in the blood, I know that this water is going to keep me youthful and healthy like nothing else ever could. I’m ecstatic with this product. It is extremely hard to find, in fact Bulk Supplements is the only supplier I could find. Check out Patrick Flanagin, Dr Sirius, Unique Water (dot com/au), Sang Whang, Shungite the Russian stone for all it’s health benefits and then know you can make your very own mag bicarb water and never look back. Life changing. FABULOUS!!!

Super healthy, reduce body acidity, great quality and price. Make your own Magnesium Bicarbonate with this!
I like many have read the amazing health benefits of consuming Magnesium, specifically Magnesium Bicarbonate (Google it). You can buy premixed supplements or buy straight Mmagnesium Bicarbonate but you'll be paying significantly more. If you're a wise consumer, you'll buy this Magnesium Hydroxide and easily make your own Magnesium Bicarbonate at home. Why? It detoxifies you, oxygenates your blood and brings PH balance. This is basically a strong electrolyte, minerals needed for proper hydration. The product itself seems top quality and very pure. You get a lot for the money and will last for a very long time. All supplements are suggested to be taken in powder form vs pills. All Pure Balks products seem top quality and some of the best deals to be found. How to make Magnesium Bicarbonate Concentrate:1. Get 1 liter of regular Seltzer Water (refrigerated)2. Weigh out 3.6 grams of Magnesium Hydroxide. (About 1 teaspoon if scale not available)3. Without shaking the bottle, gently open it. Quickly pour in the Magnesium Hydroxide. Quickly close and shake thoroughly.4. Place bottle in fridge for 30 mins for the Magnesium Hydroxide to react with the CO2 in the seltzer.5. Take it out after 30 mins and shake one last time. Let it settle in the fridge for another 30 mins and it's ready for consumption. The Magnesium Hydroxide reacts with the CO2 in the seltzer and creates Magnesium Bicarbonate. You will see the seltzer bottle cave in, signaling that the reaction is working (towards the end). You may adjust how much Magnesium Hydroxide you use, you will know you're using too much because you will see white sediments at the bottom of the bottle (this is un-reacted Magnesium Hydroxide). Also the brand of Soda/Seltzer you use, as well as other factors will determine the amount of Magnesium Hydroxide you need to use. Some brands carbonate more and thus more Magnesium Hydroxide can be used. Not to worry if you put in too much and you see white sediment at the bottom, it is not bad for you - it just creates a laxative effect. You may use this Magnesium Bicarbonate concentrate 1-2 8 ounce glasses a day, or preferably create a diluted solution for all day drinking. How to make diluted solution to drink all day:1. Measure out 11 ounces or 1/3 liter from the Concentrate (1/3 of bottle).2. Add 3.5 liters of your drinking water (Preferably distilled or filtered)3. Combine the two to make 1 Gallon of drinking water. You can consume this in 1 day. This concentrate would make about 10-11 liters of drinking water. I personally make a healthy Gallon drinking jug every day. Start with clean distilled water I add Magnesium Bicarbonate, Potassium Gluconate, fresh lemons, Chia seeds, Pinch of Sea salt.

Good for making mag water
Works well for making magnesium water. 2L club soda cooled in fridge, pour off a bit to make room for bubbling, add 1.5tsp powder, put cap on right away, shake well, return to fridge, shake a couple of more times over the next couple of hours, enjoy! One regular glass is about the same as a magnesium capsule, but a lot cheaper and probably more bioavailable.

Like many, got to use as natural deodorant...
I plugged it into my natural deodorant recipe that I usually use non-nano zinc oxide in, just swapped it out for the zinc this time. I use coconut oil, castor oil, beeswax, essential oils, clay (either kaolin or bentonite clay), arrowroot starch powder and the most important ingredient, the germ-and-odor-inhibiting mineral (zinc or in this case magnesium hydroxide). Reading the concerns of people state in reviews about how this powder doesn't mix with water or oil all that well, I simply mix it well with the dry ingredients of the clay and arrowroot before mixing with the oils and wax, seemed to mix perfectly fine, making a pudding-paste that I apply with a makeup sponge after I dry off post-shower.Didn't get the chance to make this til a couple days ago, so can't compare effectiveness completely yet to the zinc oxide version of the deodorant, but I stink to high heaven if any of these natural deodorants isn't effective (can't use regular deodorants at all anymore, too many sensitivities, and sodium bicarbonate is really effective but burns my underarms, magnesium oil is very effective also, but also burns my skin like crazy, magnesium hydroxide stick deodorants you can find without also having baking soda work very well and are gentle but are insanely expensive, use milk of magnesia in a refillable roll-on which is effective and gentle but more for if I'm on the run but have time to let it dry, this paste is good for more long-term, in the summertime needs), so I will know if I need to up the amount of magnesium in my own little experiment recipe or not. Or maybe will have to update this review if it wasn't truly effective enough (in a 24-hour type of deodorant sense).
