Can this be used for shampoo ?

The product doesn't produce much in the way of suds so what I did was use shampoo first and then use the Hibiclens. I left this on for 1 to 2 minutes while I finished showering - but being careful not to let any of it get in my eyes. I used it for itchy scalp. It helped a little but did not do what I had hoped. At least for me it will not replace shampoo, but I very much like the product and just ordered 4 32 oz containers and a pump.

Can this be used as a face cleaner?

I recommend it to a teenager going thru the puberty age where their face breaks out in bumps and pimples and she said it helped immensely. I personally wash my hair 3 times with shampoo and use this product the 4th. time and let it stay on Thru the duration of my shower and rinse it out at the end. It helps keep bumps from forming on my scalp.

Why is this $90? They are typically sold for $30
