Worth the $$
Very nice, high quality blender. Finally, a blender that if you set it on 'auto' sense mode, it does the job, correctly. No missed ice not crushed. No fibers of celery still hanging around. Everything is blended smoothly and perfectly. Looks great in the kitchen and doesn't take up too much room. And the to-go size cup is a nice little bonus, for the price.

Best Blender I've Ever Bought
Powerful, easy to clean, easy to use. Doesn't leak, is built to last, and has a wide range of speeds for blending all sorts of things! And it has a great name: The Obliterator. What more could you want?

Automatically stops when done
So far so good. We got it today, it is powerful yet quiet-ish. It has more of a humming sound, which is more pleasant than the usual blender sound. I loved the automatic feature and it blended celery nicely... which is the reason I wanted another blender. It also brings a scooper (?). The machine feels sturdy, too.

Works great with frozen fruit
I wasn’t too sure about this as I’ve always bought high end brand named small appliances, but for the price I decided to try it. I’m very impressed with how it handled frozen fruit in 1.5”+ pieces. It blended them with no problems and did so quickly. Self clean function is nice, but it’s just as easy to use a bottle brush and clean it after use. The one issue with it is the lid is hard to get off. As someone else mentioned, the concrete color is a bit odd, it’s definitely a greenish hue, but I don’t leave my blender out, so it doesn’t matter to me. The noise level is lower than my old waring pro, which is nice. I wish the jug was glass and the machine body metal but for the price and performance I’ll live with it. Overall, I’d highly recommend this blender.

This is a good purchase
This blender is remarkably durable, standing out for its robust construction. Unlike many other blenders, it operates at a significantly lower noise level, making it a pleasant addition to any kitchen. Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to its thoughtful design. The blades are incredibly sharp and powerful, ensuring efficient blending every time. Additionally, the plastic used in its construction feels high-quality and sturdy. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this blender to others.

Makes a perfect blended drink with smart automatic setting!
Wanted an economical blender that was strong enough to blend ice in frozen drinks. This was the only one recommended by consumer reports for under $100. When I received it, I was surprised at how heavy the motor was. Construction is solid all around. I read the directions and was skeptical of the automatic blend setting. Supposed to sense when blend was just right. I made a pina colada and it crushed the ice like a champ and then stopped at just the right time for an extremely smooth drink. Very impressive all around. Love the individual container also.

Powerful blender that lasted only four months
I bought this in March, as we needed a replacement blender for our two-year-old Black & Decker, which had died after two years. I of course read a number of the reviews for this and other blenders, and what drew me was the power and the ability to handle crushed ice. I also prefer a plastic carafe over a glass one as I have five kids, and if the plastic cracks, I won't be getting pieces everywhere. The price was decent, and I also liked the clean and modern look.Well, here we are four months later, and it appears the drive has stripped or somehow disconnected from the shaft that spins the blade. Either the blade doesn't turn, or if it does, it stops and stutters with a grinding sound. While we do use it every day, I figured if a cheaper Black & Decker could last two years, surely this one could, too.I've submitted a claim, which was relatively easy; besides the typical date of purchase, a copy of the receipt, and my personal information, I also needed to provide a video of the issue. If you're using your phone, you can do all of this through the website with no issues, which I appreciate. The automatic email stated that I should hear something within 5-7 business days. A long time to be without a blender and why I currently give this just a 3-star rating: one star lost for the durability issue and another star for the current turnaround time.
