If companies know any stearate blocks the absorption of medication since it is machine oil how can you make such a product?

I don't have knowledge regarding the stearate properties of this product you mentioned. However, what I can tell you is that my Vitamin D level was dangerously low prior to my medical doctor advising me to take the Orthomolecular D product and after a prescription Vit D he prescribed was ineffectual. Within 3 months my Vit D level rose to a high normal level, which indicates that it certainly was absorbed efficiently and correctively.

how many capsules in the entire box?

I believe there are 24, but I don't remember exactly. It could be 12, since the standard course for treatment of normie deficiency is one capsule once a week for 12 weeks 24 would give you two a day for 12 weeks. There is another source that sells on Amazon, Bio Tech Pharmacals, where you can get a bottle of 100 at 50,000 IU. A DSer needs to be taking 50,000 IU twice *daily* to get levels back up, but if it's been going on for a long time, even that much may not work. Did you try looking it up on Ortho Molecular Pharmacal's website?

Hmm..so I just re-ordered and before opening the pre-wrap around it, which had not been on previous packs, I see the wrap says "Made in China".
