Sony SLV-N51 4-Head Hi-Fi VCR

I like to watch vhs tape. The Sony vhs player is super good and very sturdy . It plays great. Every vhs tape has plays good and volume good. It was delivered on time. I think it was well worth the money I payed for it. I feel lucky to have find a vhs player. Super pleased with it

Thank you for the refund of the initial payment. Unfortunately, I spent much more, like $5.00 at the beginning ,for returning not working remote control, and $ 14.19 for returning your VCR, which DID NOT RECORD in my place, even with the help of a mechanic. "Auto programmed" went well, all channels logged in,I could watch them on my TV set, but IT DID NOT record needed program, and I ordered it TO RECORD programs. It just DID NOT work! I lost so much time,and so many programs I have intended to record, not mention above expences, and got a lot of aggravation on the top of it.And VCR set , even, as I knew about it, was refurbish, but dirty, not cleaned properly, like was long standing in dusty place.Believe me, NEVER AGAIN with your JWK Electronics, as not reliable.Thank you, Barbara BernerItem being reviewedSony SLV-N51 4-Head Hi-Fi VCR

Since these are awfully hard to find nowadays, and my husband and I are older and have lots of VCR tapes we are enjoying watching some of our old old things that we have recorded from our children’s childhood and our own. So we are very happy with our purchase thank you.

First of all doesn’t work!! Won’t play and won’t rewind and now won’t eject tape of my daughter’s first Bday party from 1993. I guess when I saw the tape rewinder that came with it was hint that it doesn’t work. On top of that it looks like he picked it out of the garbage and charges over 100 bucks!!

This VCR works great! I did a lot of off & on searching for a replacement for my old Sony over the summer and into the fall. This caught my eye because it's a Sony, was priced fairly, and the seller had good reviews & feedback. I always wait for a few weeks at least before reviewing electronics & this VCR I've been using since October 2020 . It's almost identical to my old one, came with a Remote that shipped in the same package as VCR, so that made it even better I didn't have to wait to use it. So far it has performed flawlessly, & is a much better option for me than the more expensive VCR TO DVD converter machines. Very happy & would buy again!

This is the 3rd VCR I've bought here and the first one that meets the threshold, barely, of usability for me. I have an old VCR/DVD combo, but the original Remote quick working long ago and haven't been able to find a replacement. All I wanted to do is pre-set the times and channels for a few show I want to watch without having to do it manually. I go to bed early and it's a pain to get up to manually set the record feature.Anyway, this SONY meets that very basic requirement. Only got it yesterday and set it up this morning. Two problems though, It won't record at EP or SLP, only SP. So my longest tape at 2hrs, 45 minutes at SP will have to do. Other issues, did a test record and when playing it back the audio is just at the level I can hear and make out what's said, etc. Also the remote, while a SONY, is NOT the one shown here on Amazon and is more complicated. With more experience I will likely work out a few more functions like on screen display for rewind, fast forward, etc. Bottomline, if I hadn't had credit card points that paid for just over half of the cost for this machine, I'd likely return it. But at least I can pre-set it to record with on screen display which I couldn't do with my other machine.
