Great alternative
These keys are a great alternative to having to pay dealer prices for keys. I purchased two for my 03 Ranger, had them cut and programed them and they work flawlessly. Saved literally hundreds of dollars.

Don't be fooled.
They keys do not have programmable chips. There are removable caps for adding a chip but the questions is 'what' chip. You cannot remove one from an old kay and add to this. Don't be fooled I see no practical use for these accept opening a door or continuing to carry around an old key with a chip.

Inexpensive replacement keys
Got these for my mother's 2010 Ford Focus to replace keys that were falling apart. Car programmed them, saved me hundreds.
