Best of the Best Translators
I have two teenage daughters who are excelling in studying foreign languages. I was hoping to find a translator that would be advanced enough to help them work on perfecting their language skills. After researching different apparatuses that could fulfill their needs, I did find this translator device made by TIMEKETTLE. Based on the visual presentation and product specs, I thought this was the most logical choice. Quick start up with a 5-minute charge delivers up to 90 minutes of use. This is one of the simplest AI translators that I have used to date. The only caveat is that in order to use this with others, they will need to have their own X1 translator. It works in "single user" mode.Below, I will outline some of the amazing features that sets this apart from some of the other ones on the market today.*Special features that you ought to consider:-Interpreter Hub AI (40) languages-Two-way translation device for up to 50 users-Simple set up- Connect to Wi-Fi-If internet is not available it has an offline feature that will operate, just won't have the full capacity until connected to the Wi-Fi (13) language pairs to choose from.-Excellent for training-conferences-speaking events-traveling abroad-Excellent use for my daughter's while they continue advancing foreign language and linguist pursuitsAll in all, I am pleased with the performance of this translator. This operates in real-time with instant translating. The unit does appear to be created using premium and durable materials. This would lend me to believe that it should have a long lifespan. At no time have I encountered any technical difficulties thus far. Therefore, based on a positive experience, I would recommend this to other consumers. Thank you.

Good but not enough.
Two stars might not be a fair rating. However, I can only review the device based on my own use case. I wanted this to work so bad, but at the end it didn’t. I purchased it initially based on a lot of research and hours of watching YouTube reviews. I needed it for my Arabic speaking Egyptian mother to have conversations with her granddaughters that only speak English. In theory, and even in practice then device translate from/to Arabic/english but you need to have only two people speaking in full sentences with significant pauses between sentences for the device to process and translate what you are saying correctly, so if anyone else in the room the mics from the headset will also pick up some words and try and translate it as well making for a very confusing and frequent pauses conversation. So unless you plan on having only two people speak in a very calculated way and pause between sentences to let the interpreter do its job, this device isn’t for you. But I do see the potential of this device, I just wish it worked fornky in se case

Remarkable
This is worth the investment. At first glance I was put off by the cost. It’s expensive. There is no getting around that. After using it for several weeks, I have to give this a glowing review. It was so incredibly easy to use and the translation accuracy was by far the best I have ever come across without having to actually hire a translator. The unit is very small and thought out in terms of its design. The ear buds store in the unit so it makes them almost impossible to misplace them.I was shocked to discover all of the functions. The technology has seriously improved over the years and this device is a testament to just that. It’s almost effortless. The translations are instant and there is an ease over using it. This device is ment for someone who actively interacts in multilingual situations. If you are only traveling or needing a translation device once or twice a year I’d recommend getting a different device. But if you’re traveling a lot and constantly in situations warranting a translator this more than pays for itself. It’s absolutely worth it. Extremely easy to use, the accuracy is impressive and it takes up a negligible amount of space. It’s extremely comfortable to use and an all around light weight and convenient device.

High end, multi function translator. Business meetings or one on one. Not for street use.
If your use is business meetings or one on one communications, this unit will work for you.The unit comes very nicely boxed and packaged, like an expensive cell phone. It's sleek and modern looking, as well as fairly heavy and substantial. There are several ear bud covers as well as connectors to keep the earbuds securely on your ear. The included charging cord is the standard USB to C. The cord is fairly short. It also comes with a screen protector. The ear buds are comfortable. They are kept right in the unit in a magnetized slot and charge themselves. The included ear support felt awkward to me, but may be useful in some situation. In use, there are some limitations. It functions well in one on one conversations, but each person must speak a little slower and more clearly than usual. The translations do appear on the screen, which is also nice. I think it would also function well in a meeting format where only one person talks at a time. If there are others in the background talking, the unit picks up their conversations to, so it can get confusing. The unit can also be used for translating foreign language movies and does fairly well at that. The translations are fairly accurate it seems. The unit has a lot of features I was not able to test, but based on my limited experience the quality of this unit is very high. The battery lasted over 8 hours without having to charge. It's expensive and for serious users in business or education settings. This unit would not be good for on the street conversations. Google translate does that job just fine. Do some research and read all the reviews to see if it will work for you.
