This is my first coffee grinder I have always bought ground coffee so I decided to try grinding my own. I still need to work out which beans will end up as favourites .The grinder seems well made and the instructions are easy to follow, very easy to operate and grinds quite accurately according to the setting you use. There are 40 settings fine to coarse and depending on your brewing method that allows plenty of choice. I have used fairly coarse for a french press and much finer for a percolator/ moka pot so far.It feels good value for the money and I feel hand grinding is a nice part of making your own coffee, maybe one day I will try an electric one but meanwhile I am happy with this.

This is my first manual grinder but it is a lot nicer than I was expecting. Very solid, very easy to use, easy to clean, manages to be less messy and a whole lot quieter than any electric grinder I've used. It's a little bit of a workout to get grinds for a double shot of espresso but it fits nicely into my morning ritual. My only concern would be using it for something that required more grinds. It's probably enough for a small drip coffee maker, and definitely a mokka pot. But you wouldn't want to use this for a 10 cup maker.

Why did you choose this product over others?:This grinder is a little treasure ! I bought it for travelling, but I use it regularly now. I can grind bean for a small cafeteria in no time. The dial on the top allows choosing right grind for your equipment. Easy to use and clean. Highly recommend it!

Brilliant product. I love it. It’s very small and is designed to grind enough coffee for one double espresso at a time, but that’s exactly what I wanted, very happy with it! Setting 5 is just right for my DeLonghi espresso machine

Arrived quickly and as described. Product appears sturdy and was easy to use when it got a test drive today. When filled with coffee beans the glass container appears to catch enough ground coffee for two refills of my small 1 x mug French Press. It seems good quality for the money paid. I selected the medium (20) grind setting for my French press, it came out slightly coarse so I would select a finer setting next time.

Excellent grinder - loads of grind settings to allow you to hit the sweet spot in your coffee tastes. Really good value and a worthy replacement for yet another electric grinder that gave up the ghost!
