Excellent question! kegg detects the changes in the cervical fluid to show the user their full 5 day fertile window. Hospitable cervical mucus is key to sustain, nourish, and assist sperm en route to the egg. Whereas LH doesn’t peak until most of the fertile window has passed, kegg users see the full window from the start (3-5 days before the day of ovulation when women have the highest chances to get pregnant). The kegg readings need to be interpreted by their trend. kegg plots your reading on the kegg chart as well as a trend line which helps you see the overall trend of the readings. You can optionally input your basal body temperature to view both your BBT and kegg readings in one convenient chart. Additionally, there are many other observations that can be tracked in the kegg app as well.
