Great looking product
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this product to place my mini mixing desk or laptop during my live performances. I think that I am going to use it for more things, such as tambourine and other percussions. I was impressed by the light weight and the ease to set up. All you have to do, after unboxing it, is to screw the tray on the tripod as on my video and you are set. As for the height, it is also very straightforward, like the in the video. Something I forgot to show in the video is that, besides the legs, you can also raise the tray by using the crank handle at the top of the tripod. It adds up another 10cm on average. Finally, the product looks great and stable enough to hold a projector or anything similar to that weight.

Does the job intended. . . . but be aware.
In general I'm happy with the overall quality of this tripod and it does the job for what I intended. I wanted it for using with my new home cinema projector allowing me to position it at different heights and location around my house.1 negative - Maybe it's just the one I received, but when winding the extension to it's highest using the handle, with the weight of the projector (which isn't over heavy, average laptop weight) if you don't screw the locking screw up straight away then it crashes back down to the bottom. This might seem obvious, but when you come to adjust down and unscrew the locking screw, if you aren't supporting the platform/projector it does the same even if your holding the winding handle. Other tripods I've had will support the weight as you hold the handle or wind up or down, not this one, the teeth just slip through until you lock it up.Not a deal breaker for me now I know how it does this and I don't need to adjust it too often, but something to be aware of if this is the same in them all. (avoids a scary crashing down of your equipment) - as I said maybe mine was a faulty version.Otherwise very happy with this purchase. 4 stars due to possible dodgy/faulty winding extension.

Happy with this product.
After trying to perch my projector on a camera tripod without any success. It was time to look for something better, and I've found it.first I extended the legs, checked the spirit level, and that was almost spot on,attached the plate and strapped on the projector. The horizontal projection was slightly off.there was no reason to mess about with anything else.just slip little bit of folded cardboard under the projector until its level. From the start to finish was less than five minutes. Conclusion. Well made produt, value for money, cant really find a fault with it.and that's good enough for me.

Uncomplicated
The Vankyo stand telescopes to a good height. Simple to use. Has a spirit level which is useful and a large plate surface that your gadget, in my case a projector, can sit on. Additional elastic straps help to secure my projector to the plate and avoid the simple accidents. It is lightweight and folds away in seconds, amd takes a minute or two to erect. Not very sturdy but this is to be expected, and I guess you need to sacrifice portability for sturdiness. It does have a handle on the central pole helps you carry it about but is over the top in my opinion. It does what it says it does and you won’t have to replace it anytime soon.

Very versatile stand
This is extremely versatile in it does range from a very small to very tall and seems sturdy. It doesn't take up much space and the legs unscrew from the top to fit in a carrying bag. There is a mat on the base to help the projector stay and also 2 elastic bands that can be used to fix it in place.I didn't realise that the top has no way of adjusting the angle and isn't level - there's a slight angle. With the range of height this shouldn't be a problem as you should be able to use the height and the projector adjustment to get the correct angle.I bought this as part of a deal so got 50% off and am not sure if I would have paid full price for it but it's extremely good value for what I paid!

Great stand!
This is a great stand. I bought it for my new projector. It looks and feels sturdy and does its job right. My floor is not even so it might not look straight on the image. You can increase the length of the stand with either the expandable legs or by winding up the stand itself. Very happy with the purchase!

Tripod is the best value
Very good little projector and the screen is massive I can’t put it up in the house it’s too big but outside it’s great 👍 the tripod is steady and strong and perfect for the projector to sit on 👍 well worth the price looking forward to using it for my nieces birthday party next summer so going to put photos of her birth to her marriage and she is 30 years old so should be a great birthday party 👍

CHEAP!! DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PROJECTOR TO FALL ON THE FLOOR!!
Out the box it didn't look very promising the tripod is extremely cheap, flimsy and plastic. Strange considering you can buy a more durable, better quality camera tripod for half the price. What makes this one so much more expensive then a regular tripod? The only good quality part of this is the metal tray that holds the projector but does it matter considering the thing holding it is about as strong as a twig?We hesitantly used this but after about 3 months the mechanism holding one of the legs in place stopped working, collapsed and dropped our projector on the floor. Now the tripod it's just a useless piece of plastic with a leg that doesn't stay in place. Don't waste £30+ on something that is as frail as something you can buy from poundland.
