Tapo Wireless Doorbell Camera, 2K 3MP Battery-Powered Video Doorbell

Excellent for the price. I had a cheap one before getting the tapo D210 and tbh it was awful. This has plenty of settings to choose from, four different detection modes and you can fine tune the sensitivity from 0-10. When I'm home I have detection turned off but when I go out and put the doorbell and the tapo cameras in my flat to away mode I have them set to 2 on motion & person detection. You can also choose if you want the doorbell to wake from motion or when it is pressed. There is 6 choices for the colour of the led. You can choose how bright or how dim you want the light that comes on at night if your doorbell is pressed. You can choose to have infrared or full colour when the light comes on. Anti theft mode which sets off an alarm and records if anyone removes it (just remember to turn it off when you need to charge it) 2 choices in picture quality, either 360p or 2k. You have a wedge to adjust the angle of the doorbell camera which is optional in the installation. I have opted into the subscription for cloud at £2.99 per month which is an amazing price. I originally had a sd card installed but thought the unlimited 30 days cloud storage was a better option. If you choose the cloud storage from after selecting your doorbell in the app you get a 30 day free trial. What makes this doorbell stand out above the rest is the fact you don't need a subscription to pickup any motion and the battery, my old one needed charging for 10 hours each time and would last 3 days at the most, I have lost 7% battery in 4 days which is awesome. Keep on mind that using live view a lot of having sensitivity for detection on high will result in the battery draining quicker. The app is easy to use and works well. I have had 2 tspo cameras in my flat for nearly 4 years and have never had any issues with it. Runs smooth with no lag. Crystal clear picture. Highly recommend.

Easy to install, excellent picture quality, Just what we needed & good price too

Excellent option for the price. Turning to camera livestream can take a few seconds but overall great purchase. Battery life is decent but not 6 months long. Night vision excellent, app interface is designed well. Easy setup as well.

We have quite a few Tapo cameras and products and when our old push doorbell died it made sense to upgrade to a video one. The doorbell is stylish and looks lovely on the door frame. Set up and installation was super easy and only took a few minutes (used the sticky pad provided). The video quality is amazing and despite living on a main road I have been able to tweak the settings so it doesn't pick up the traffic and only people walking on the drive. Excellent battery life so far. It's been installed for a couple of months and still has 50% battery left. Easy to view footage and no need for a monthly subscription as I have added a sd card. I couldn't be happier

Having moved over from a BotLab Doorbell, I can confidently say the Tapo Wireless Doorbell is not only far cheaper but performs much better. The connection is more stable, and since I already have several Tapo devices, sticking to a single ecosystem made a lot of sense.The Positives:Value for Money: At this price, it’s an absolute steal. I purchased this Tapo doorbell to replace my Ring doorbell, as I was fed up with the increasing charge to store the footage, which has increased by approx 100% since I bought it. I couldn't be more pleased with it. The lens is very wide and gives a very clear picture and in full colour at night. It was very easy to install and I've even connected it up to Alexa and also to my Echo show. Storage is via a micro sd card, so no ongoing costs. My only slight gripe is that I will have to actually remove to re-charge the battery as you cannot just remove the battery like the ring. All in all, at a total cost of about £70 including the micro sd card an absolute bargain.

Good quality doorbell at the price an easy to fit. Good quality picture and excellent motion detection.However there are three problems. The chime unit is not very loud and has limited and very short chimes. The other problem is the lack of a picture of the person ringing the bell. If you want that you have to subscribe. A very serious omission.Finally I found the battery does not last very long if you use the motion detection. I use it at night only.

Good picture quality, great battery life, easy to set up, great app, reliable. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Highly recommended.
