We have these on our dogs leashes because coyotes are very active in our neighborhood killing dogs. These are lightweight and loud. Work great for our purpose

This is very loud and ear piercing! I sometimes would carry it with me when traveling in the city after dark. I used to feel safe after 7 or 8 pm. I feel this may stop someone from attacking me if the alarm went of as to not be around if people come out.

These are great and I carry them every time I am out walking. I walk a mile to two miles every day in a wildlife sanctuary. Many times there are people out on the trails and I don't worry that I am alone but other times I find myself alone without anyone else around. The sound is very loud but they are super easy to carry. I put the strap around my wrist and the key ring around my middle finger and carry it inside my palm for easy access. The sound would repeal a bear [which are in the area where I walk] and it can be heard for quite some distance. I like the way it is designed to carry. For me, it keeps my hands essentially free and yet it is right there to activate if needed and I don't have to unzip a pocket or fish around inside a fanny pack to find it. I am never without it now.

I’ve already bought this product before and liked it. the battery died on the old one and they are not super common batteries so I ordered a new pack. Two work and are very loud but one doesn’t work. Maybe not great value but super loud alarm.

The best personal alarm ever. Good for dangerous situations or for a medical emergecy. Alarm is loud, piercing, screeching etc. Might scare animals away too. I have one in my car, one in my purse and gave one to my grandson for his bike rides.

I highly recommend this whether you are going on a vacation trip or just a simple trip to the grocery store. This thing is loud and I mean it is loud loud loud. I didn’t think it was gonna be that loud and it is good thing! This is good to even go on a walk with your dog with this is good for announcing to other people, you know that you’re in danger or to distract somebody with the loud noise for a couple of seconds to getting another dog away from your dog.I really really like this. This is great and even for elderly people if there’s an elderly person in the home by themselves if they keep this on their walker or they keep one and every single room as long as they can get to it and pull the pin out you can hear this a mile away. It’s really loud so it’s even good for that. This is has a lot of good purposes!!!!!
