These tapes work beautifully for me. If you’re new to eyelid tape, it may take many attempts to see what works for you. I first bought a “variety pack” of eyelid tapes. It included thin tapes that were sticky on both sides, thin tapes that were sticky on one-side only, and also included the type of tapes that I’m reviewing now. These tapes are thin tapes but can be used as double wide. They are sticky on one side only— two pieces sit tightly together on the backing and can be peeled off together and used as one wider piece. That is how I use them.When new at applying tapes, I thought the single-sided sticky tapes would be of no value. Why would a piece of tape rid me of loose skin wrinkles that cause hooded eyes? The answer is, it just does. The double-sided sticky tapes do not work for me and they look weird (or I do it wrong) But these tapes go on instantly and I believe are not noticeable. With these tapes I have almost 1/4” visible eyelids— without tapes, loose skin sits right at my lashes. It takes practice and seeing what works for you. It was worth it to me to buy the variety pack and waste a lot of tapes during practice. I found out these are the best for me. I don’t want to be without them. BTW, these stay on all day... if I wash my face carefully around my eyes, I can sleep in them and they’re still on in the morning. (That may not sound like something you’d want to do, but there may be circumstances when you would want that.)

I have tried everything to get these to adhere. They do not stay more than a few minutes.These are not that easy to install, they are thick and ridged, they are not clear, you cannot really wear eye shadow with them. I feel this product was a total waste of my money.

First time using anything like this, watched videos for research and for the price, thought “eh, let’s give these a whirl”. Package has a plentiful bunch of lid tapes, slightly frosted looking on the plastic sheets. Even with tweezers the tapes were a little hard to get off the sheet without stretching or crimping the very corner. Had issues getting positioned on my lid, couldn’t tell much difference in lift when I did find my position, but when positioned “wrong” it does make it obvious you have the tapes on. Maybe a different size would have helped? Can’t reposition, had to use fresh lid tape strip as the adhesive loses its “sticky”. Experimented with different positions, to the point my lids got irritated. Either looked weird or looked worse. Could not wear them more than an hour or so, I have oily skin so I expected issues, but the strips would start loosening after about an hour.

I bought these for fun, just to try them. They do work, but nothing I would actively use every day. They lifted just a little on my eye, not very much. If you go too far back, you feel the piece on the eye. If you do not put it on right, you will not see a difference. So it will take a few attempts to understand exact placement for your eye type.

I tried these eyelid ‘tapes’ today - tiny little clear plastic strips with adhesive on one side that somehow affect where the eyelid folds in on itself when eyes are open. Color me shocked when it turns out that 1. They actually work 2. Are super easy to apply and remove 3. Aren’t really too noticeable when I blink 4. Can apply eyeshadow over them and 5. Are super inexpensive for a beauty product - ~$6 for 200 pair. Now, granted, I applied them after applying eye cream, C serum and C moisturizer, so they might not be as easy to remove if I applied them to squeaky clean skin as instructions state, and used just my fingers to apply them, not the poky plastic stick thing they came with (stick a poky plastic thing in my eye? Not this golden girl!). So, yeah - even with them I still have hooded eyes, but I can get my eyelids off of my lashes, which is pretty cool in my book!

I followed the directions precisely, but I was not able to apply it properly. There was always a corner that stood out noticeably that would not lay flat. I am over 60 and my eyelids are heavy - but even with the portion that did stick - it made no difference in my appearance. I gave it 2 stars because the portion that did stick was easy to remove when following the instructions.

These were hard to get off the packaging--when you pull them off, the corner bends, and then doesn't stick to your eye. I do not know why they are splitt in the middle--makes them less strong than the brand name tapes. I've tried them several days, just not impressed--spend the money to get the name brand adhesive tapes --you get a lot of these, but they just dont work.

I'm new to eyelid tape, but thought I try it on my one droopy lid. With age, the asymmetry of my eyes is worsening especially on cell phone pictures. Vanity, vanity...I know. This single-sided tape is fantastic! It works as describe and is the exact product shown in the pictures. It comes in a little pouch with small plastic tweezers and a Y stick to help press the strips on (great little tool!). And it gives my droopy lid just the little correction it needs. People can't see it even when they're looking for it, especially with makeup over it. Makeup does reflect a bit differently off it and it takes getting used to apply liquid liner on it, but I've been very pleased. The seller ZM-cosmetictools is also wonderful. I received my product very quickly; they sent me an email to make sure the product was delivered and to offer help learning to use it with a tutorial video. I really appreciated the care. I also appreciate their accuracy in the description/photos on Amazon and the product itself. That's really important to me bc I don't like returning items and try to select things carefully. My eyes are quite large for an Asian woman, though I only have a sliver of a double lid, so the large size works perfectly. They also work for my Caucasian friend who has small double lids. Pick your size depending on your eyes and give them a try!
