The media could not be loaded.  I bought these for an outdoor Christmas party at my house. The outdoor part was canceled thanks to a very strong front that came in day of. I spread these out inside my house and after the front put a few back outside after the front. I absolutely love them! I put them on timer mode the night of the party. They come on at the same time (6ish) each night automatically and turn themselves off around midnight. Its been two weeks since the party and they are still doing their thing. They have a gentle flicker thats not annoying too. I will probably use them every year from now on! Great find!

Work fine, very lightweight as others have mentioned…plastic not glass for the panes but fine for my application of running them down a fence line on hooks. They have 3 settings you can choose by sliding a button on bottom “on” “timer”and “off” if you put them to timer they will run for 6 hours and then turn off however…they will turn back on nightly and run for another 6 hours unless you turn them off. If you are looking for something that puts out a lot of light..these are not it. That being said they look cute on fence line and create a nice glow for parties but no real lighting. I purchased about a dozen and am happy with them.

I've ordered the sets of 12 of these lanterns many times and have always been happy until this last order. Two out of the twelve didn't work. And not only did they not work but when batteries were installed & switch turned on the battery compartment started SMOKING! The batteries were very hot to the touch when removed. I can tell these were different than other's I've ordered, tag was different and there was a screw in the battery compartment cover. Now I'm hesitant to reorder.

I thought the Lantern would be taller. We have used other lanterns which were about twice the height and that’s what I had expected even though the description indicated about 10 inches in height. I was also disappointed that with the use of AAA batteries that That when even using the timer the battery expectancy is only about a month. They are cute. I recommend them for small decorations.

We ordered these for a wedding. We want to have a lit pathway to the tent for the reception. These will work for that--but just barely. I was skeptical of their quality since they were cheap, but decided to go ahead and order. We are going to use them, but be aware that if you wanted these for a tabletop setting or as home decor they are way too cheap-looking for that. Since these will be on the ground in the grass, they'll be fine for the pathway.

The first lantern we put batteries in did not turn on. We noticed the batteries immediately getting hot to the touch and a smell of burning. Upon closer inspection noticed smoke rising from the control circuit when the batteries were inserted. Even closer inspection of the control circuit revealed a solder joint making contact with one of the battery terminals effectively creating a short circuit. Pictured is the solder joint and battery terminal referenced. Note: I separated the two points hence the gap that can now be seen.

We purchased these for our wedding this year and after sitting down to put batteries in, only 8/12 worked. They look fine however, of the 8, only 6 had bottoms that stayed on; the black battery covers continuously fall off or somehow put pressure to where the lanterns turn off. For the price tag, these are NOT worth it. I would rather spend a bit more and get a quality set then continue to fiddle with getting them to work. Will definitely be returning!

These have held up well since April. They have been rained on and moved around a lot. Even the batteries that came with them still work. I’m satisfied with them even if they stop working now. Over six months of use at this price point is a pretty good deal! Definitely would buy again.
