Everki Beacon Laptop Backpack with Gaming Console Sleeve, Fits up to 18-Inch (EKP117NBKCT)

I just got this yesterday, and it's already taken the top spot in terms of quality and appeal in the list of bags I've had.Ever since I started using a laptop (beginning of high school), I've been getting backpacks designed to carry them - that is to say, they've had dedicated laptop pockets. I've had some really nice ones, and some really bad ones. This bag makes all those others look like the word "dedicated" should be changed to "supplemental." This is a bag with a whole separate pocket for the computer, not just a padded compartment inside a pocket. And not only is it padded, it's also lined with material I would sleep in. My PC's going to be spoiled by this bag.Another great feature is that this bag is enormous without looking enormous. For anyone who owns an Asus G73 and is worried that its engine-like fan vents will cause problems fitting it into a backpack, look no further - you've found your bag. As long as you keep the cooling unit facing the longer side of the zipper (the right if you're looking at it from the back), you're set. It fits easily and comfortably, no stretching of or pulling on the zippers to make them fit around the G73's (rather enormous) frame. In addition to easily fitting the largest laptops you could reasonably carry around with you, it has plenty of room for a lot more. Case in point: gaming consoles which it's designed to hold. I don't own a console, so that space will go to use holding things like books. The water-resistant cover is an excellent bonus, as it rains a lot where I go to school and I always worried about my electronics in my last bag.In terms of design, you can tell it's far from a budget item, but it doesn't overburden itself showing it off to you. The black is tastefully accented by the orange on the outside, and the inside is bright without being painful to look at. It's minimalist and modern while still looking robust.But the thing I was most concerned about (and what most others would be too, no doubt) is the quality. Even after reading star-spangled reviews, I felt nervous about giving a lot of money to a company I had never heard of. My doubts were quelled the moment I pulled it out of the box. The nylon is tough and resilient, and the fleece that lines the laptop pocket, as I mentioned above, is exquisite. All the buckles, zipper pulls and fasteners are made of high-grade metal or plastic and have that dense feeling that well-made materials do, so there's no worry of breakage there. The water cover is well made and feels appropriately waterproof. Everything feels top-notch and expertly crafted, and as an added bonus, Everki throws in a lifetime warranty, so if a part breaks outside of normal wear or accidental damage - ever - they'll replace the bag.Everki may not be a big-name brand like High Sierra or North Face, but they make a damn good product. I feel like an overexcited child on Christmas by giving it a perfect rating, but there's honestly nothing I can complain about. From now on, when I need a bag or backpack, I'll be sure to check out their lineup.

I know that there are very few cases that fit the new larger 18.4" laptops and this one does, at least it fits my new Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G-9630, although just barely. When zipping up both sides I kinda have to shift the laptop slightly in the bag to clear the corners, but unzipping isn't an issue. Perhaps once its had some time to settle zipping up won't be either.If you are going to be hauling an xbox around in this be aware that while the console will fit without problems in their nifty orange envelope, once you put the power supply and other cables in the main pouch there isn't much room left for things like controllers and headsets (especially if you have nicer, bulkier headsets).Also, there are only 2 pouches in the main area which are the right size to hold optical media (cd, dvd, bluray) and while the pouch is large enough to hold media in a standard cd case there is only minimal lining on the side that faces the inside of the main pouch. It seems like they could have made that more protective.I mean, I know we're moving away from optical media as a culture and moving towards downloaded media, but if I'm lugging around a large screen laptop and a video game console it seems likely that I'll be carrying around some optical media. Whether I'm toting video games, cds, dvds or blurays it'd be nice to not have to lug them around in their cases which are typically much larger and eat up more space. It wouldn't have been hard to integrate optical media storage into the console sleeve and you could probably fit a dozen or so disks per side using a layered pattern in the ilk of sun visor cd holders. Every other laptop bag I've ever had has these (I checked).That said, that's my only real negative. The front pouch is a bit odd with a single slightly off-center vertical zipper but I've not yet decided if I like or don't like this. It seems like a convenient way to get to the bottom of the pouch without letting everything fall out, but only time will tell if this is actually useful or just annoying.On the positive side, the build quality on this backpack is fantastic. It has a high quality feel and when being worn as a backpack there is hardly any orange color visible (I consider this a good thing... when not being worn the entire back is orange and the backpack becomes highly visible which is also good). The handles on the top and front are both very sturdy for when you need to pick the bag with one or two hands and move quickly. The shoulder straps are sturdy and well padded and are adjustable to my size (I am not tiny).In the end this case has everything I need and most of what I want. I am gonna buy a cd case and be very very happy.

Producto de materiales de aparente muy buena calidad, tengo una msi gt73vr titan, la cual es de dimensiones considerables y cupo sin problemas incluso dejando un sobrante de espacio, lo cual resulta en una buena protección para la laptot. Cuenta con una gran cantidad de compartimientos y el compartimiento afelpado para la laptot mantiene a salvo de rayones tu máquina. En fin, muy satisfecho con la compra, recomendado.

Ce sac à dos coute plutôt cher mais vous en avez pour votre argent !La qualité des matériaux est excellente.Mon PC en 17" rendre large et il est surtout très confortablement installé dans un logement soyeux et protégé par de bons renforts en mousse.Le sac contient beaucoup d'autres rangements de différentes tailles, c'est très utile.Je regrette juste les deux poches latérales qui dépassent trop à mon gout. Mais quand même utiles !Un achat que je ne regrette pas.

This bag can literally hold my entire life in here. The material is durable, and the zippers are top notch. There are plenty of compartments, and the contrast in colour with the orange interior is simple yet brilliant. Never again will you be searching for your things inside of a black on black bag. It's always the little things in life that make all the difference isn't it? If you are planning on packing this bag to the brim, lay it on the strap side facing down, then make use of the easy clip off feature to fully open it. Much easier to pack a ton of stuff than if it is lying "up". It is comfortable over long distances with quite a heavy load, and the weather resistant cover inside of the "secret stash" pocket ensures you are never worried about expensive electronics within it. The only trouble I had with Everki was deciding which bag to buy! Now I know I'll buy a couple of their other models as well! Do yourself a favour, grab one of these bags!* Update - it's been 4 months and this bag has held up to a lot of abuse. It carries SO much stuff I can't iterate this enough! My only issue is figuring which Everki bag to buy next as I literally want all of them =) *** Update as of Dec 2019 - This backpack is STILL FLAWLESS. It has now gone on a Europe trip where it was my only bag for the entire time. It fit enough clothes for 3 weeks, plus everything else! (Yes it was a bit heavy lol). Till this day all the zippers are in perfect shape, and even after all it’s been through, there isn’t a single rip or hole anywhere. I can’t say enough about this brand. Bravo 👏 **

I bought this bag for my MSI GT72 2QD Dominator, It is really hard to find a 17.3 incher laptop bag, even if we found one, I don't think it has enough space for the mammoth gaming laptops. well, after a long search I found this one and ordered is ASAP. The delivery took 15+ days I believe as it wasn't directly supplied from India, Had to be imported and then be delivered. Served by Cart2India.I bought this one for 11k and something change, which is too much for any bag. Well, can't blame it, not from this country right? tax and duties and commission and all.Bag arrived in a big box, packed well. As soon as it arrived first thing I did was try to fit the My laptop in it. Ohhh, it went in easily, I was glad, But, the laptop(MSI GT72 2QD) fits very tight in it. laptop edges almost tough the zipper, only few cms spared. I guess it is because of the depth of my laptop, it takes too much space. Still, it was a good fit, I think it's also good, as it hold my laptop tight.One notable thing is that this bag doesn't have a partitioned laptop section in a zipper for laptop but the whole zipper compartment is meant for laptop, which is completely filled with soft material to ensure your laptop is protected from external harms. The bag has two big compartment, one for the laptop and another for other stuffs to fill-in. The other compartment has many smaller compartments and packets to hold your devices, gadgets, cables and plug-and-plays. And also I found this console bag. which is to be used to store the gaming console. Well, I have no gaming console, I am just using it to store my cooling pad , mouse pad, and papers if i have any, it does store them pretty well. Bag also have many zippers on the top, store anything you want, things you wanna get out without opening the bag, I store earphones, wallet, mobile phone sometimes, works well for me. The bag also has umbrella holder, good for monsoon, ain't it ? There is no cover over the zips to stop rain drop entering into the bag, but they got it covered by giving a rain cover which can be found in the bottom zipper of the bag, it is very compact and light, doesn't add up weight or eat space or anything.Sturdy build, spacious , stylish. Go for it if you need good bag.

Sin duda alguna una de las mejores mochilas para viajero con gadgets electrónicos que haya tenido. Está perfectamente distribuida para poder guardar documentos, carpetas, cables, discos portátiles, audífonos y evidentemente el ordenador portátil (sin necesidad de llevarlo con funda, ya que el compartimento está súper acondicionado para protegerle). El protector impermeable para las lluvias resulta de gran utilidad para el clima, así que también está perfecto. Es ergonómica y súper cómoda para llevar.En pocas palabras, una maravilla.
