My favorite board for high core-count scalable Xeons, backed by excellent warranty & support
This board is not cheap but has performed better for me than ASUS SAGE or Z-series dual socket and ASROCK duals.Earlier versions (BIOS 2.1 or before) work with everything es/qs in scalable xeon CPU where other brands don'tThis is a big board, needs XL case, about 14.5" x 15", due to 4 double-width PCI-e 3.0x16 gpu capacity.Even though I am a personal, not Supermicro 'business account' customer, they have always responded same or next day forany question or issue and always stand behind their warranty. I have used motherboards from Supermicro, ASUS, ASROCK,and others, and Supermicro seems to perform as good or better with a simpler BIOS and is easy to test and update.Excellent engineering & performance, excellent product data at their website, and best customer support in the industry.
