Kwik-Sew's Swim & Action Wear Paperback – May 1, 1995

I was skeptical of the low price on this book as normally that means it doesn't have the master patterns included. I decided to take a risk and get it knowing that the book itself would be filled with good information even without the patterns. I was amazed that for the lowest price I've ever found this book it not only came with the mater pattern sheet in perfect condition but also included a pre-traced pattern from the previous owner! I highly recommend buying from this seller. I can not wait to see how this improves my swimwear sewing.

I bought this book because I have never sewn swimwear before, and wanted to learn so I can start making swimsuits, especially for synchronized swimming. I found this book to be a great help for getting start since all of the directions were easy to follow and the book came with patterns of different sizes. The illustrations are especially helpful, since I can see what the finished produce will look like. I highly recommend the book, especially when you are working with difficult, stretchy fabrics.

This is a good book for casual stretch wear. It gives good information without being to long winded. It also includes multi -sized patterns for all the pieces in the book. Just what I needed. Shipping was fine no problems.

If you're just starting out sewing active wear or sewing on spandex/ Lycra this book is a wonderful reference for your sewing room...it includes master patterns so you can make basic work out gear or change it up to add mesh panels... love my edition!

The construction methods and the cut of the patterns are so outmoded that I can't use them. The multisized pattern is only for adults XS to XL, no kids' sizes. The shorts/leggings pattern would perhaps make an effective girdle. I'll stick with Jalie patterns.

I have tried many different patterns for gymnastics leotards including Kwik sew but have not been able to find just what I was looking for online or in the pattern books. I was so happy to get this book it has many variations to basic patterns for dance, swim and gymnastics.

This book is wonderful It has lots of pictures, great explanations and diagrams. I can't make anything from it since it didn't come with the patterns. It looks like a good book to learn about knitwear. Buyer be beware you maybe as unlucky as I was. Only recourse is to return the book.

Great resource. Patterns run a little on the large side but it only takes once to learn. Getting raves on first bathing suit and requests to start making for friends. Love the book, love the master patterns. What more can a woman who swims 3 times a week ask for.
