Works Fine So Far
Like many others, I found no tiny regulator valve inside the old Fluidmaster. I called Fluidmaster support. They said this just reduces noise and a little pressure. If it shuts off properly and otherwise works fine, all is good.I already have the external water valve turned way down in case a guest doesn't lift the handle. (This Niagara's water tank has a habit of staying tilted, so need to lift up the handle every time or else expensive water just literally goes down the drain!.) Anyway, the previous identical unit lasted many years before developing a very slight ooze after filling. This one should be fine too. I'd say if anyone doesn't have the little insert to reduce the pressure, just turn down the external valve. ( Takes longer to fill though.)Great product and very easy to install!
