Not sure how to rate this product. I installed it in my sledge hammer head and one of my Afghan workers broke it the first day. It is probably not the fault of the handle, these workers are not accustomed to technology even at this level and can break even the most simple things. We are doing a job on Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan and there is no place here to buy things like this. Thank you Amazon! I will use you for many things even when I return to US that I did not use before. It is so easy to order in 5 mins vs driving in traffic.

Good product but a month to arrive.

This is a great buy!!! I wanted To switch the handle on my sledgehammer from plastic to wooden this fit great works excellent feels great in my hands I would recommend anybody who wants a wooden sledgehammer handle to get this product

Perfect fit was harder to get the broken handle out of my sledge then it was to install the new one. Great price. This new handle has already taken a lot of abuse I had over 50 stumps that I had to split and this make my job a lot easier along with my kids they are younger and able to swing the hammer longer then me.

We are very glad we bought this handle. It held up great with rugged use.

This is a good handle for the money. The direction of the grain wasn't perfect, but it was close. Like most handles, you'll probably have to do some carving and sanding to get a good fit. It comes with a wood wedge and a metal wedge. Mine didn't come with installation instructions though. That probably won't be a problem for most people, but I feel it's worth mentioning.

Sticker and adhesive. I’ll likely have to take the finish off to get all the adhesive off. Why not put stickers on a piece of paper or stick they on an executives ass?

Handle fine but wedge (mentioned in the product description) was not supplied. A minor omission but a pain in the neck when fitting handle.

This did not come with the wedge as stated in the description.
