Crampbuster CB4-C Cruise Assist Oversize Grip Wide Chrome

It works ok but is a light plastic,not metal. Not real chrome..just ok.

I picked this cruise assist specifically because of the wide base, which turned out to be a great decision, because I love the feel of the wide base (and it doesn't get in the way). Unfortunately, the plastic part of the grip doesn't stay in place during bumpy rides and/or hot rides. It will gradually slide down causing it become useless unless your use your thumb to pull it bad up while holding down the throttle with the rest of your fingers (not my favorite manuever to do while trying to cruise on the highway). The plastic piece seems a bit too wide even though the rubber potion was so tight I could barely get it on (and this was after I tried the smaller size which proved to be too small).

Works well if your on the highway or long straight road. Can be a bit dangerous though, easy to "accidently" pop the throttle when in town or at stop lights, and it's not easy to move it out of your way while on the bike.

I have been using Crampbusters ever since they came on the market. My last three motorcycles, including my current ride, have all had cruise control. I never use cruise control because of the potential delay in slowing down in an emergency. I only use the Crampbuster and recommend them for everyone. Larry

After figuring out where I wanted this to be on my grip, it only took about 5 seconds to put it on. The black rubber band goes on first then the cramp buster over it to keep it from slipping around. For me, I put it on the very end of my throttle because I ride with my hands up against the bike rather than at the end of the grips so it's completely out of the way when I ride unless I need it then I just move my hand over an inch and rest my palm on the crampbuster. When I don't want to use it, I move my hand back or even take my hand off completely and the throttle rotates back. In that respect it works great and (I've had others like this one) so I gave it 4 stars. However, I read over the description several times and no where does it say it's made from plastic. In fact it says it is chrome, that's why I bought it. It's not chrome. The seller flat out lied about it. It is "chrome colored" but make no mistake, it is plastic. Durable, I hope, and it does work exactly how I intended it to work but really wanted one made from chrome, not plastic. The POW/MIA rally is coming up and I'm sure I'll find a real chrome one there and use this as a backup. I wouldn't buy this item or recommend the seller at all because of that one lie about what you are actually buying. For that reason I had to knock the 4 stars down to 1. If the seller had been honest and said it was plastic I probably would have kept it at 4 stars. I looked up several chrome crampbusters on Amazon and they all said "chrome finished". If this seller had done that, yeah, definitely 4 or even 5 stars. Bad mistake on their part.

It works great but I wish I would have choose black! I chose chrome and was disappointed with the look; It’s a sort of dull with texture. Certainly clipped on easy and functions well. -but BLK BETTER! Obviously it’s plastic but still… Crampbuster is a pretty cool extra gadget with function!

Slip’s I’ve got to constantly adjust while riding

It was easy to put on and worked great. My only complaint is that I have to re-adjust it every 30 minutes since it keep going down.

I love this device. Used it on my last two rides and it performs very well and certainly reduces the strain on my wrist. So much better than the cheaper knock offs. So easy to adjust.

Great on long runs on the highway
