Wonderful resource
Huge help for my child. The questions were able to present topics, vocabulary and sentence structures that helped us as parents work with our child. Great resource.

Worth it
I got this book for my daughter because it was hard for her to comprehend when she was reading. She did a couple pages every day and drastically got better.

Good Buy!
This is a good book for summer break, to help keep reading and writing skills sharp. It can also be used during the regular school year for added reading comprehension and writing practice. The stories and excercises are more engaging for 4th graders than those found in some ohter workbooks.

Multiple Choice is Great for Struggling/Reluctant Writers!
We are huge fans of this workbook! It only takes a few minutes a day and is in a multiple choice format! Most 4th grade reading workbooks are "write in" answer formats, so this was an amazing find for us!This works great for our 4th grader. He isn't big on writing and has his own writing curriculum, so when looking for a reading comprehension workbook I wanted multiple choice. We first tried out the Spectrum books and they were a nightmare at this age level (we do love the Spectrum Reading Grade 1). He would take an hour on one page because of all the writing, so we were happy to find this book and his mini silent reading time has become less stressful! The book is set up in a five day week schedule, but we ignore the date in the corner and just work on one reading passage a day. Day 5 is always a writing assignment. This is the only part we don't like, but we just skip it and move on to the next reading page.

Great for struggling kids
I ordered this book to help my 4th grader with reading comprehension because in school she was struggling and failing horribly . So I decided to take her out of school and Homeschool her and this has been a great help. It helped her to be more confident and be more independent. The short stories is what I like and on “ day 4 &5” was longer with writing exercise helped to come up with a lot of ideas and she is a good writer.I also use this book for my 2nd grader who was struggling with reading and writing and now he has improved greatly. I’m a homeschool mom and I don’t want to overwhelm my kids with so much like how they did in school.

Great Summer Workbook
I bought it for my 8yo daughter for the summer. She will go into 4th next month. The content and reading materials are great, but I'm not sure if I like the multiple choice idea. Sometimes my kid would get lazy and either skip a question or randomly pick an answer.

Worked well.
Worked well as an aide for tutoring a 3rd grader struggling with reading.
