IT BLOOMED!
I bought this little guy about a year ago and had it in a seashell stuffed with moss by a fountain. He wasn't very happy there though getting misted. I decided to wrap him with a bunch of sphagnum moss onto a piece of burl wood with rough bark and place with other orchids under a grow light. That was when he really started to grow and just tonight I discovered the little dickens had put out the cutest yellow flower about the size of my middle fingernail lol! Soooo cute!Orchids are fussy. If they don't get enough moisture, too much moisture, not enough light, too much light etc they just might not bloom for you. I never gave up hope I'd get a flower and now will make extra sure to keep my conditions stable. Fertilize weekly weakly using rain water, mist every other day to wet the moss and roots during the heated indoors dry Winter months, make sure to keep the light levels similar. Many orchids need a drop in temperature in the Fall coupled with shorter periods of light to signal it's time to bloom. They need cycles of light and dark, like to 'go to bed' at night without artificial light shining on them.My orchid arrived in great shape, healthy plant, but probably should have transferred him over to his permanent tree bark home earlier and also made the mistake of using well water with heavy minerals. The white blotches on some leaves are calcium deposits - orchids need rain water!

Overall happy with my mini orchid.
Probably should have looked at review photos before ordering, as the image showing how it’s mounted was the main reason I chose this one. I loves the cork bark look, but it came on a tiny piece of plain plywood.Although I am unhappy with the mount, I am happy with the plants overall health. It has nice beautiful foliage and roots. It came with one yellow leaf that has since fell off, but that’s to be expected when it is over 100° outside and it’s packaged for a week in transit. Even with the high temperatures and travel it was still slightly moist upon arrival.Value for money spent, it’s okay. It would have been better if this was cheaper because of the wood used. I would have been much happier with a nicer mount for the price.Hopefully, this tiny beauty will put on growth for me and make beautiful flowers. The first photo is right when it arrived, the second is today.

We'll see if it survives
Arrived looking reasonably healthy, but no spikes or flowers as was advertised. The mounting is nice but very impractical. I have about 90 orchids in my house, many types, and have been taking care of orchids for decades. This is a very high maintenance orchid. It has to be watered every 1-2 days, and it's quite humid here right now. In the winter, when we use forced air heat and the humidity is low, this plant wouldn't last a day mounted as it is. I had a stretch of 3 days this week when I didn't water it and I found a wilted, half dead looking plant. I cut it off the mounting and planted it in moss that will stay wet for a few days, and we'll see if it recovers. Based on experience, I'd say 75% chance it will die.

Healthy, hearty plant. Great seller.
Great plant. Hearty. Healthy. These reviews are gonna be negative. These plants are easy to kill. They’ve been really good to me.(A few hours can kill a micro orchid in the wrong conditions, that’s why they’re fun. )

Perfect little orchid
This was perfect for a miniature terrarium that someone gifted me. Healthy plant and it arrived both quickly and in perfect condition!

Disappointed with this tiny specimen
This is very very small orchid. And apparently, extremely sensitive to less than perfect humidity conditions. Mine was healthy enough when it arrived, nicely packaged (did I mention that it was small?) but it started withering even though I cared for it as instructed. I even placed it into a makeshift terrarium hoping to reverse the wilting trend. I’m still debating when to give up and toss it out. Disappointed. I gave two stars rather than one because of how well it was prepared for shipping.
