Good idea, but the arms are not as easily removable as you'd think. (unless you're just unlatching the hooks and leaving the top part of the arm attached which looks terrible). The side bolts for holding the arms in place dont tighten enough so the arms don't move and you can end up threading the hole if you over tighten. I ended up losing a bolt to vibration when I wasn't using the arms. I'm going to have to drill a hole in the base and arms so I can use a slide pin to make it truly quick release.

This surfboard rack fits perfectly on my Vespa 150 scooter with The rear luggage rack folded down. I have an actually ridden it yet with the surfboard, so I don't know how that feels, but it looks great and the surfboard fits perfectly between the two padded bars.

Gnarly threads on the bolts, initially a pain but once base is installed it is very easy to take arms off. Nice job.

Love the product. Fits good and carries the surfboard safely. Allows me to use the scooter to get fast to the beach and cheap on gas!

installed easily on a 2015 grom, but I immediately noticed the arms were not staying up and the clamping mechanism wanted to strip. After switching out the hardware for longer 30mm bolts, I put locking nuts on the ends so I could really crank down the clamping force. Now the rack can hold my board at 65+

Great product! Easy to setup and feels very sturdy but still lightweight at the same time. I hardly notice it when I’m riding! if you have a moped, get this rack!
