RC's have changed a lot since the 90's. Which is the last time I used one as a teenager. Compared to what's available now for the same price back then. I couldn't believe how much faster, more agile and versatile this truck was compared to what I was used to using. I got a couple of old rc’s from my childhood a little while ago from my parents. My son and I ran them for a while. One of them had a problem with the terrain we were driving on so I decided to buy something new.So I bought this truck. I have to say, this truck runs circles around those old vehicles for the same amount of money that I remember spending to get them. This truck is much faster than my son could handle at 8. It's been crashed a couple of times at full speed. A dog bone fell out of its track, but it was easy to fix. Bottom line, I’m impressed with this truck. It's cheap, but sturdy. I feel that this was a good purchase.

Fast fun truck but go easy on it or you'll be replacing parts all the time... that's true for any RC.

The truck is working well and holding up good. The banana style battery connectors are not a good standard for the U.S so I have converted mine. Otherwise, for the money, it's a pretty sweet 4x4 RC truck. It is bouncy because of the two pairs of shocks so be prepared.

My boys LOVE this truck. It seems to be water-resistant as we play with it in the snow. Good construction and we love that all parts are replaceable.

Purchased this in December 2014 as a Christmas present for my son. The car is awesome. The remote control is junk! Within 2 weeks of normal supervised use, the steering wheel stopped returning to center. To the company's credit they sent me 1 new remote. Within 1 month, the new remote failed the same way. Upon calling the company, they refused to either repair or replace the remote a second time. I then took apart the remote myself and re-attached the spring that had come loose. This same failure has now occurred 4 more times over the last 6 months and each time I've called the company and each time they have refused to stand behind their product. There is a major design flaw in this remote and you will get stuck with it just like I did!. Don't do it
