This thing works!!!
When I bought this product I was a little Skeptical, how could this actually work? Well i'm on my second batch of beer, and it's amazing. Still not sure how it works, but it kept the temp. Within a .2° degree temp! I plan on buying another one. It's cheaper then running the air conditioning all day!

Eh, could be good.
Didn’t care too much for the customer support. I regret dropping my money on this. Doesn’t cool very great. No where near the 35 degrees above or below ambient. I was getting 25, max.

The promise does not come close to the actual reality of the product
I have three BrewJacket devices. They all started out great and worked for the first several batches. Eventually all of the devices started to no longer cool as they were supposed to.BrewJacket offers VERY limited technical support. As a (possibly) small/young company they obviously do not understand the importance of technical support. It seems to be treated as an afterthought. Possibly this is because they do not have enough profit margin to support technical support. They have no phone number to talk to a human and will not provide a phone numberEmail technical support typically requires three-day turnaround and can extend to much longer for ongoing issues.Having a human to talk to would speed the process. They are consistently out of replacement parts – another sign of a small firm with (possible) cash problems or supplier issues.Sales are now exclusively from Amazon – eliminating typical (industry) distribution channels may be the reason.Shame on me for wanting the promise to meet the reality.

Meh. Underwhelming.
It works to some degree, but surely not 35 degrees +/-. 10 degrees, yes. 20 degrees if you are lucky and have lots of time and not during active fermentation and that’s it. I had a super active fermentation and it could not overcome the heat generated by the yeast, holding at the very top of the range for this yeast despite setting it 10 degrees cooler. The jacket for a conical is a giant pain to attach. If you have the space, get a fridge off craigslist and an inkbird controller - way easier to deal with.

Works good, not great
I've currently got three of these. For what I need, they perform well. I can easily hold up to 95 degrees for kveik fermentations or 45 degrees for lagers in a room that stays 70 degrees. Condensation when dropping below 60 can become an issue if left unattended. Ramping or dropping temperature is nice and slow and doesn't stress the yeast. The biggest thing I'd consider a drawback is that you really have to consciously remember to not use StarSan when cleaning and sanitizing. For the home brewer, StarSan is a lot like Franks Red Hot...we put that sh... on everything. I've only accidentally hit one of mine with StarSan once and immediately rinsed it, doesn't seem to have done any damage. Iodine sanitizer now sits between the StarSan and the PBW.

Great for fermenting of Ales in small areas.
Great to ferment ales with. Holds temperature within 1 degree Farenheit. Can be loud at times.

Customer support spotty
Bought a new fermenter so I asked them which lid to use, bought the one they recommended.....not even close to fitting, sent them an email a week ago....haven't heard back...BTW the lid they recommended was the most expensive one....

Do. Not. Buy.
Yea sure, it works... Kind of... 25 degrees below ambient max, and the condensation that develops is a contamination risk for your beer. The seals and bungs are awful, have to use special iodine sani to sanitize (or out in your oven at 250 degrees for a half hour, but it's a metal rod, no way it gets down to temp fast enough to touch your wort without becoming insani'd again). Not to mention it doesn't come with components for the right big mouth lid, only works on the crummy ones that don't screw on, so basically another unsanitary seal point. This thing can work, but for much much less money and just the same amount of work you can fix something up yourself. Customer service is literally nonexistent, I haven't seen a company try to hide that info as hard as brewjacket did. I would recommend all homebrewers stay far away from this unit.
