UPDATE: THE COLORS ARE COATED ON THEM - AFTER MANY MONTHS OF USING THE COLOR CHIPS OFF! I TOSSED ALL THE COLORED ONES. These are sturdy straws! I had previously bought the same quality straws from a boutique store for $8. each so, I am extremely pleased with these!! I dropped one on my granite countertop and no chips or cracks! The fact that you can see through them is a big plus, especially if you put chia seeds in your smoothies!! The brushes work well - a perfect fit so all the interior glass is cleaned at the same time - not like some of the smaller brushes that I have to keep repositioning to make sure I clean every millimeter of the inside wall.

I ordered these straws to replace single use straws. The package came with a grey velveteen travel pouch, two straw brushes, and the 8 straws. The straws themselves are as advertised - glass, 4 straight, 4 bent, and in 8 pretty colors. Immediately after opening them I was washing them and dropped three of them in the sink (whoops) from a height of about a foot, and despite hitting the metal sink as well as each other, nothing broke (this time), which is pretty decent for glass straws. The glass is thicker, so I imagine it will take more of a drop to crack these, although I'm not planning on repeating the experiment. The straws are a bit wider than your standard plastic straw, so if you need thinner straws, these may not be for you.

These are really nice. I love the ones which are bent, because, well I love bendy straws. The cleaning brush which is included actually cleans the straws, which amazed me.The best part is the bag they came in, seriously. My kitchen gets a LOT of use from people who don't pay attention to what they are doing. The bag serves as a warning which is really nice. I actually have a place where I keep things that are very breakable (candy thermometer, etc.) and the people who don't pay attention don't know where that is so these straws go there.I also have a grown daughter who loves these. She keeps trying to leave with one of these, but it's obvious when she tries.When I ordered these, it was stated only one was left. I will keep my eyes open to see if they become available and just buy her her own set. She has a daughter and two step-children, so I will buy her her own set. The different colors can be used as one color per person to prevent fights.I especially like knowing I am keeping waste from a landfill.I received the order on time, and the package was easy to open.

I bought this item to be used to drink the bubble tea, but after I used know that the size of the straw is too small for the bubbles, but the quality is good, nice colors, also feeling good in the mouth , so stay for use, no return it

These look great, cool colors, 2 styles (straight and an angled / "bent" version which is my favorite)... great for any drink. They are glass, so they can break, but the glass is sturdy (I was afraid they might be too thin). I have been using them for few weeks, and haven't lost any yet. Pop them in the dishwasher, and re-use. Easy way to be kind to the environment.

I have bought glass straws before, and had zero issues with them beyond dropping and breaking them, which is obviously on me. These ones, in comparison, are awful. The color on the pink one faded the first time we washed it, and cracked at the end. Another looks to have become chipped at the end, again after 1-2 uses. The other ones I bought have lasted months at this point and not even been slightly damaged. These straws can be DANGEROUS if they break this easily. Please be careful if you buy these.

I bought these straws in order to stop using plastic or paper straws when drinking canned items at work. I don't like drinking out of a can but didn't want to have to wash a cup every day at the end of my shift before putting it back into my personal storage space. I'd simply rinse the straw and take it home at the end of the week to use the brush to clean the inside better. However, I thought the glass was colored, but actually the color is a coating on the straw and starts to peel off. So, I took a no-scratch sponge to help clean more of it off. Three years later now, retired, and I still use the straws at home. Great straw, but I wish they had kept their color.

These straws are so cool! The colors are great. The straws are pretty wide mouth which is great for drinking shakes, smoothies and even soda and water. The glass is thick so i'm not scared it is going to break. They are tall enough to fit in a large fast food soda cup. Very easy to clean. I have one in my purse, one at work, and the rest at my house for when i have guests.
