If you’re lazy, impatient, or just don’t want to deal with a million steps—this is your paint.
THIS PAINT? Total game changer. If you’re like me and just randomly decided on a Sunday night you wanted to change the color of your furniture, but don’t know the difference between all these different paints and also too ADHD to research and prep whatever you’re painting, this paint will do wonders for you.I bought the paint and some brushes and I went all in on some coffee table I picked up. It was already painted and glossy, but there was just zero chance I was going to sand it before painting. I needed a paint that would stick with minimal effort—and this one delivered.I used two coats of the color white, and it went on SO smooth. No primer. No prep. Just vibes.I didn’t add any poly or finishing coat because I honestly didn’t feel like purchasing it and needing to find a place to store it. Also, it seemed a bit extra like no one is going to notice. In my opinion, the table looked fine in the end.I included a pic of it before and after (keep in mind I just painted over the coat underneath, so if there’s bumps or anything from a bad previous paint job, that might show)Bottom line? If you’re lazy, impatient, or just don’t want to deal with a million steps—this is your paint. It’s beginner-proof, drama-free, and made my procrastinated project look like a total glow-up.

DIY Dream
Bought this paint to refurb all my bedroom furniture that I was ready to throw away. So far I painted a tall dresser, big for no reason nightstand & a storage chest. I used one can of paint, which was enough for 3 coats. This paint exceeded my expectations, my furniture looks GOODT. Special shout out to my brother in Christ, a reviewer on here who recommended 3 coats & a satin poly. He is out here doing the Lord’s work.-I’m no Picasso, I was concerned about brush strokes showing up, they didn’t!!-I didn’t feel like sanding, I’m speaking my truth, the paint covered everything perfectly.-Eclipse looked charcoal gray to me, one day I woke up & the furniture looks black. Maybe I convinced myself it was black, idk. The color isn't the deepest black, it’s a softer black that’s really beautiful. It’s very pleasing to the eye.If you’re looking to purchase, the color might not be an exact match to what you have in mind but this paint might check off the rest of your boxes.

Beautiful Color & Super Easy to Use — Great Coverage Even Over Dark Wood
I love working with this Rust-Oleum Milk Paint in Highland Blue — it’s one of the easiest paints I’ve used for DIY furniture makeovers. The consistency is just right, and it goes on smoothly without dripping or streaking.I applied it over dark wood without any primer, and it still provided great coverage with just a couple of coats. The color is gorgeous — soft but rich, and it gives a clean, vintage-inspired finish without a lot of effort. It dries quickly and gives that lightly distressed, matte look that’s perfect for upcycled furniture or home décor projects. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced DIYers alike.

Satisfied
Used this to give and old piece of furniture a lift and it came out nice. You can see the difference as I started to paint.

no texture look
was excited to get this but disappointed in the color. I wanted an aqua blue and it looks that way in the picture but when it arrived and I opened it, it was more of a green. Especially after it dried after I painted it. Also, it says that it is a textured look, and it did not look textured at all. It looked more glossy than anything.

Perfect color!!
I love this!!! This looks awesome on my wall! The color is vibrant. I didn't know how I'd like the matte look, but I love how it turned out. I was able to use a whole can on one wall(that was all I needed for an accent wall). The color was exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful Finish, Easy to Use, and Long-Lasting!
The Rust-Oleum Milk Paint Finish in Eclipse is a fantastic product for achieving a beautiful, vintage-style look with minimal effort. Milk paint has always been my go-to for furniture refinishing, and this one did not disappoint. The best qualities of milk paint shine through: it provides excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, and even previously painted pieces, with little to no prep work. The velvety matte finish adds a touch of elegance while enhancing the natural texture of the surface. It’s also low odor and fast-drying, which is a big plus for indoor projects. This particular shade, Eclipse, is a rich, deep color that looks stunning on both large furniture pieces and small decorative items. The paint is easy to apply and layers beautifully for a distressed or solid look, depending on your preference.Highly recommend for anyone looking to refresh furniture or add a timeless, rustic charm to their home decor!I used it as the base coat on the table, before painting it white and then distressing.
