Decorative Iron Shelf Brackets Cast Iron Wall Shelf Bracket Welcome Sign with Screws in 6.7 inches Deep Brace(Sea Horse)

I ordered four of these to hold two shelves in my bathroom that were originally designed as "floating" shelves, but I found to be wobbly and angled too far forward on their own to trust with any weight. These brackets have added stability and made them far more sturdy. I'm very pleased with the final result. Even though now they tilt more backwards. But that being said, if the shelves were not so misshapen and askew to begin with, these brackets would have never worked at all. As others mentioned (and I didn't notice prior to purchase), they are not 90°. I was disappointed when I saw them. But realized they still worked for what I wanted them for. If they didn't, I would have had to return them. If you're doing a custom project that doesn't require squared edges and can adjust things as you go, these might work for you. But they're terrible for anything that has to be precise. They're extremely cute, though! It's hard not to fall in love with them immediately, despite their imperfections. Which made them all the more disappointing when I first saw them.

Very poor workmanship/quality control on what otherwise would be a highly rated product. I've six of these now, and none of them are right angled. I used three for a single shelf, high up, and the defect is not really noticeable. But now I am trying to mount a separate shelf at right angles to that one, and the shelf surfaces cannot align in the corner. There really is no excuse for this kind of manufacturing flaw.

Bought two and both arrived broken I'm reordering them. I will update when I receive the replacements. The design is cute, but I'm worried about how brittle they are. Stay tuned!

Only came with ONE bracket, despite the ad saying BRACKETS. Will be returning for a refund. Not worth the price if I have to buy another one to match.
