Phanteks PH-VGPUKT_02 – Universal Vertical GPU Bracket with 220mm Flat Line Pci-E X16 Riser Cable Kit

I bought this with some trepidation, since i have a Lian Li o11 Dynamic and was a little worried about compatibility, but after seeing other reviews here i figured i'd give it ago. I've been after a vertical mounting bracket for a while but thought i wasn't going to be able to get one as i needed to keep my floor case fans and all the other vertical brackets seemed to fix to the floor of the case. this one however is able to hang in the air with surprising little sag considering it's just being held up by it's 3 thumb screws and has to hold a pretty hefty graphics card...it was a bit fiddly to fit into the right position for the case, but manged to figure it out in the end and once that was done it was an easy fit. i read in another review it was mentioned that the rise cable was incompatible with pcie 4.0, but i'm using a x570 motherboard here and have not found any compatibility issues. it posted first time and has worked without a problem since.would definitely recommend.

I was originally looking at the Lian Li vertical GPU stand but I really didn't like how wide the stand was and how much of my fans would have been getting blocked if I chose to go down that route. I then circled my usual forums and found out that for the Lian Li and the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL this one is the one to go for if you're serious about maintaining as much airflow in your case as possible. I jumped at the opportunity and purchased the item straight away.I couldn't be happier. I really couldn't.The installation is a breeze. It looks like the part, makes your build stand out and I just can't fault it. The only issue that I personally found was that the riser cable itself is 220mm, so it's a little long, so I found that I had to attach the actually vertical stand to the bottom of the case to allow a bit more room for flexibility. Apart from that though? It's beautiful.P.s. Make sure you install the GPU onto the mount first and not after. Otherwise you're going to be having a very hard time screwing in GPU to make sure it's stable.

Yes it looks nice yes it will likely be reliable especially with the PCI extension. However holy crap phateks you missed the mark for the small stuff you would expect for an onbrand design. So as a phantecks case producer you would expect that they would try their best to integrate both of these while allowing for universal mounting. NOPE. This thing fits in my p400a as it would in any other case which is so lazy you would expect integrating both objects properly would increase brand reliability but no. I had to use the stupid stick on rubber pads (which feels so lazy and cheap) like oh doesn't sit on the bottom of your case just use these stick on rubber pads to hold up your £600 GPU. But finally we get to the actual slightly dangerous bit of the product your GPU isn't screwed down. First time I tried putting the connectors into the card it slipped out of its pcie slot and it crashed. How difficult is it to put 2 screw holes into this thing. It is so dangerous to just let your GPU sit in its pcie slot without securing it if you pull it out you could bridge a neutral and positive and it could very easily die.

Product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Did manage to mount my gpu vertically.Only giving 3 stars because it did prove to be relatively difficult to work with, having checked compatibility and even installing into a Phanteks case (no missing needed).The riser cable is overly long and gets bent, wedged between the gpu and board. It doesn’t come screwed onto the bracket itself. Mine only came with 3 screws and two are needed to secure the gpu so basically I was one short. This wasn’t a problem for me as I had identical screws left over from my build.It proved to be quite hard to mount to the case itself. One of the thumbscrews wouldn’t come out which really didn’t help this. The ‘bar’ you can see in the images that goes between the hdmi/dp slots on my card makes it hard to fit the card and still have access to all the ports (took some trial and error).It’s all sorted now and I’m happy with it. Looks killer with my gpu (gigabyte aorus) But for the price (presumably this is mainly due to a good quality riser cable) you’d hope for a bit more. As well as it being easy to work with, which it really isn’t.

Purchased this for my Corsair H220T case for a 3070fe.The case needed some modding, as seen in the picture, but the support is great. The GPU is steady and installation wasn’t to difficult, once the case was modded. Will recommend.

Fantastic product. Running RTX 3060 12GB. Easy to fit! Just be careful with your case as little bending was done to get HDMI cable to fit. However this is due to my case. Everyone case will be different. Work well not GPU lost at all. 100% recommended!

Really happy with this, it worked exactly as I had hoped.I wanted to vertical mount my gpu in my Lian Li o11 dynamic, but the Lian Li vertical gpu mount blocks off the bottom area for intake fans.The phanteks gpu mount keeps the gpu raised off the bed which is perfect so I can use the bottom of my case for intake fans like I wanted.

The product worked well in the PC and mounted to the existing slots as expected. Slight sag in the bracket under the weight of the GPU but nothing concerning. Cheaper than other solutions from the case manufacturer

First off, if you are on the x570 chipset you MUST switch your pci slots to gen 3 prior to install, or your system will not detect your gpu. This was the only hiccup I encountered. I wish it mentioned this in the documentation for the mount, because I was briefly concerned the included riser cable was bad. However after some googling i figured out the issue, switched it to PCI 3.0, and then it worked fine.So I purchased this for my O11 Dynamic XL despite a few reviewers saying they needed to bend or cut some of the metal on this mount in order to get it to fit.That is NOT the case - maybe Phantek revised the design recently, but this installed perfectly - no issues at all with the fit. See pictures.All in all, this is a fantastic product, and gives your build a really great look, and the price is about half what Lian Li tries to charge for their O11D-specific vertical gpu mount.

Nonostante il case non fosse di quelli con la finestra posteriore unica e quindi ho dovuto con un tronchese tagliare i listelli trasversali, il lavoro di installazione ha richiesto circa 15 minuti.Testato con Unigine Heaven Benchmark ho notato la perdita di qualche fps (4 o 5 circa) probabilmente dovuta al fatto che la scheda non è collegata direttamente allo slot. La temperatura della scheda in questa posizione è diminuita di circa 5 gradi ma di contro la temperatura della CPU è aumentata di 3 forse perchè in questa posizione la GPU soffia aria calda direttamente sul dissipatore del processore.Nel complesso sono pienamente soddisfatto e l'effetto estetico è molto buono.Nota negativa dovrò trovare un modo per installare la mia scheda USB 3 pcie-1 perche così com'è non è più possibile intallare alcuna scheda.

Ik heb veel moeite ervoor moeten doen waaronder delen ervan zagen en of snijden om hem in mijn case te laten passen in de Lian li mini case eindstand werkt het gpu vertical mount niet eens. Ik ben erg teleurgesteld en ga zeker mijn geld terug vragen voor een product dat defect is. Helaas is dit ook gebeurd tijdens een compleet nieuwe computer beeld en hierdoor heb ik vertraging . had graag gehoopt dat alles in 1x ging maarja.

Pro:- still can use the top PCI slot (assuming your GPU doesn't get in the way)- quality cable- use in cases that don't have vertical GPU mount locationOther:- cable may not support PCI express 4.0. I read somewhere that it doesn't but I don't actually know.- requires cutting your case.I got this even though my case comes with a vertical mount for a graphics card already. The case location is too close to the side to allow the card to breath properly and will be more of a headache once I add a water block to the GPU. Plus I think it looks better, and lets face it, aesthetics is the reason you are buying this.It's easy to install but as other reviewers have pointed out you will likely need to cut out the metal between the card locations which might be a deal breaker for some. Used a Dremel with cutting bit and another bit for smoothing out the cut after. I found the base of the bracket decent, but for a heavy card you will get some sag. The kit comes with black foam pads that you can stack up for stability which I used. The cable is really long, so it should support pretty much any motherboard configuration. I've been using it for a month now on my GeForce 1070 without any issues. Read a lot of reviews on other cables where users said the computer would not post or other related graphics problems. The unit costs about the same or slightly more than other offerings including just the cable so in that sense it is good value. You can just use the cable (without the bracket) so you could still use the case vertical mount if your case has that option. Keep in mind you won't be able to use any of your PCI slots with the exception of the top one, and it restricts access to everything behind it.

Junio 2020: agregué fotos de la tarjeta instalada para que vean que solo se les corta las camillas de la parte de atrás (a algunos gabinetes se les quita y queda el espacio abierto, a otras se les tiene que cortar) Mi gabinete es el Matrexx 70...Buen soporte. Universal y fácil de instalar. A pesar de que mi tarjeta de video es grande y pesada la mantiene muy bien sujetada. Eso sí, se tienen que usar las almohadillas (incluidas) para ajustar la altura según sea el modelo de la tarjeta de video. Otro detalle, con esta base la tarjeta queda separada del cristal templado, a diferencia de los gabinetes que traen incluida la opción de "vertical gpu" y que los creadores de contenido en YouTube, han mencionado que se calienta un poco más de lo normal la tarjeta. En este caso al tener más espacio para circulación de aire mi tarjeta no pasa de 55-60 en videojuegos de gama media y alta.
