Freud quality through and through
I've been a fan of Freud's consumer line of blades, which go under the Diablo moniker, for a few years now. The snazzy red blade is totally functional as an anti friction coating and has saved me from countless binding and burning situations. I decided to give the Freud industrial line a chance. First off, Freud's anti vibration cutouts and slots are second to none. I replaced a fine finish Dewalt blade(the one from the two pack with the framing blade) with this one, on my Makita LS1216L. That blade rang like a bell after every cut, to the point it was louder than the saw, which is superb and quiet on it's own. This blade is dead quiet and extremely stable. Freud lets you choose down to even your particular grade of carbide, and if you look closely at the teeth, it uses a composite tip with two different carbides for both hardness of edge and toughness of the teeth. I cut myself slightly pulling the blade from the box, it's that sharp! A few caveats though- this blade is supposedly "thin kerf"', but it has a full 3/32nds kerf. The Dewalt was much thinner, and the thicker kerf makes the saw work harder to make the same cut. Make sure your saw has at least a 15 amp motor at minimum.- many blades come with anti overfeed stops behind the teeth. This is a vanilla alternating top bevel blade, and it is possible to overfeed the blade and damage your workpeice with tearout or blade burning. Use a slow, steady hand and let the blade cut only as fast as action permits, which is relatively slow compared to most other blades I've used. If you want fast, buy a framing blade. If you can work within these limitations this will leave an almost glass like finish on the cut with zero tearout. I would NOT use this blade to cut MDF or ACQ all day, that's what triple chip blades are meant for. This is an excellent cabinet makers blade in every respect.

Now try the best...
For years I have used a Freud DIABLO 80-tooth thin kerf blade. I couldn't find the DIABLO blade anymore so I tried this one. It is identical to the DIABLO so I suspect they just changed the label to read INDUSTRIAL. It works identically to the DIABLO also. "Now try the best..." - well I think so. I admit I haven't tried all the rest, but once you use this blade I think you too will stop looking. It is supposed to be a cut off blade but it rips just fine for me. I am not a professional woodworker (that is I do not do it to make money or on a daily basis) but I would be happy to compare my quality with any pro's work. I rarely touch plywood or composites so I can't speak to how it would hold up after continuous daily use with those materials. I have used this blade for trimming plywood panels after veneering and I don't notice any immediate detrimental effects to the blade. The cut is just as beautiful as with natural lumber and I don't have to worry about any veneer splinters. If you only have one table saw and are too lazy to change blades every time you change materials or cut direction, I think this is a great multi-use blade for glass-smooth precision cuts. If you just need to cut through something, there are a lot of less expensive blades out there that will do that. If you want a blade that cuts through lumber like butter and a cut surface that is near finish quality right off the saw, this is the blade for you.

Absolutely one of the best on the market period!
Freud makes some of the best quality products in tools. They are solid, reliable, and just plain well made, and this saw blade is no exception. My old miter saw blade was finally starting to show its age and well just signs of use! So I decided to see what was available as a replacement and since I alread own Freud router and forstner bits well you know how it goes. I picked up this saw blade and I can say in my 15 years of woodworking (handyman type level) including my dad's tools I haven't seen cleaner cuts from a blade. I mean some cuts don't even require sanding it's so nice and clean. Anyway, take a go for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed!

Highly recommend!
Like a knife through butter! I've always purchased the big box Dewalt miter saw blades. Even spent the extra money for the 80 tooth but none compare to this blade. Definitely the next step up in woodworking. I use a lot of reclaimed oak for my projects. Really wish I would've purchased this years ago. Very smooth, quiet, no burn marks, and no tear out. Very easily cuts through 5/4 oak. Highly recommended!!

Very versatile. Excellent cutting on plywood and hardwoods.
I originally purchased one of these years ago and used it on a miter saw. Moved it to my sears table saw. Sold my Sears saw but moved the blade to a new Delta saw. I purchased a new blade just like it as back up. Old blade is still cutting accurately. It fights To cut 3 inch hick cherry but does it. Wouldn’t use it for more than a few rips on that but it rips 3/4 oak strips with no problem. I don’t change it for cross cutting. Maybe I’ll put the new blade on soon. Great blade.

Cut Quality Rivals Forrest Chopmaster
I have had this blade installed on my Bosch GCM12SD for about a month and am very happy with it. My previous blade was the Forrest Chopmaster, which is out being sharpened. The Chopmaster is an excellent blade but it's typically $30-$40 more expensive than this Freud. The quality of the cuts I get from this Freud is essentially the same as I got from the Forrest blade when it was new (and sharp). The sawn face of the wood is very smooth -- almost polished-looking -- and requires minimal sanding. If I didn't already own the Forrest blade, I would order a second Freud to have on hand when this one needs to be sharpened! Great blade at a great price.

Best saw blades on the planet!
Made in Italy, still! I'm a professional cabinet maker and these blades perform great for my needs. Many other "top" brands from the past used to be awesome but are now made in China and they suck but the prices are as if they are still manufactured in Sweeden, Germany, USA ...What a shame.
