To prevent metal on metal dents, I use this as a buffer between my jackstand lift head and the bottom of my car's sound panel. Works great.

I use pinch weld adapters with my floor jack when lifting vehicles for stability and to avoid damaging the weld.A standard hockey puck super glued to the adapter gives you about an inch of extra lift - we all know that every inch counts.

I put 6+ forks on my Sporty and it leaned to far half of this puck made it right.

Bought them to put on my floor jack when lifting car on pinch weld but they easily brake in half.Are ok for short term use but would not rely on them for longer.But they are great to use as spacers, like supporting the brake rotor when replacing struts etc. and you need to rest stuff on something.Still giving it 4 stars because it's actually a sports item and not fair to give a low rating based on something they're not built for.

I bought these pucks for a slightly off-label use… creating custom jack pads to use with my jack and jack stands when working on my car.I use one puck, unmodified, with my floor jack to both protect the metal of the car from getting scratched by the jack, and also to provide just a little extra lift from my low-profile jack.I modified four of the pucks for use with my Esco jack stands which have flat, circular tops which are perfect for use with these pucks. I cut a modified V-shaped groove deep into each puck so the pinch weld on the car could fit into the groove on the puck, thereby allowing the inner frame rail of the car to rest on the puck and be supported by the jack stand without any weight being applied to the pinch weld (so there’s no chance of the pinch weld bending). To do this I used a vise to clamp down on each puck securely and then used a standard hacksaw to cut the grooves. The final product works exactly like I wanted.These probably work well for hockey too… but I wouldn’t know about that.

I bought a hockey puck off amazon years ago to use as a jack pad and it held up great. This one however started developing cracks after the first use. I can't deduct too many stars because that's not what it is made for. But I will buy a different brand next time.
