Great sounding versatile pick up
The new pick ups replaced my original “Duncan Design” pickups. I added a coil split switch and the SH1s give me a bell like single coil tone in addition to a wonderfully warm ‘59 burst hand wound humbucker tone.I highly recommend these pick ups.

I’m embarrassed on behalf of Seymour Duncan. These are terrible
I don’t even know where to start.First of all, the part was warped, I had to bend the stand offs back in place just to install themSecond, the wiring convention is incorrect, on a few different levels. First, it is supposed to exit the pickup near side to the cavity, second, it looks like the wires themselves are incorrectly labeled.In addition to this, the springs they give are ridiculously oversized. It’s an absolute pain to install these. Any small slip up and the spring will shoot across the room and you’ll never find it again.I have an old pair of these, and they sound much better. I’m pretty sure they are sending used returns. Absolute joke

Great pickup
This pick up brought my Les Paul to life. I did not like the stock epi pup in the bridge so I got this bad boy. It has so much clarity and nice mids. Would definitely recommend it

Good tone, good companion to a T top Neck
Good tone, settles well on a 1978 SG.It sits next to a T top which was the original pickup in the guitar. Someone had changed the bridge pickup to an incorrect neck pickup.... Funny the things people do to guitars.Good tone, no issues.

Sounds great in my Epi Les Paul. Perfect for Blues/Country/Classic Rock. I wired a set of these Jimmy Page style with f***'in awesome results! Huge upgrade from the stock pickups.

Have this in my Les Paul now and really enjoy the clarity it brings to my guitar. It still sound amazing when used with a high gain or low gain amp. All around great PAF sounding pickups.
