I got these for my boyfriend when he checks his pottery kiln since its very hot, 1000 degrees plus, and he kept getting his sleeves on his jacket singed. I subtracted one star because this was a Christmas present, and on glove came with a hole in it, which did not give me confidence in this brand.The replacement was easy, however, and they were intact.

You can feel the quality of the leather compared to my old harbor freight gloves. My old gloves would let a lot of heat in, these have better resistance to heat. They are thicker, so they feel bulky, maybe the leather will eventually break in.

Not as heat resistant as expected. I could feel the heat at 350 degrees on a glass dish out of the oven. Would not use on anything over 500 degrees.
