Czech & Speake No 88 Cologne (100ml)

This scent reminds me of Ozzy. The scent of No. 88 filled the room, and I had to find 1000 brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So Jeff Beck pops his head around the door and mentions that there's a little sweet shop on the edge of town, so off we go. So there's me and Keith Moon breaking into this sweet shop right, well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great Bengal Tiger! Well, I managed to take out the Tiger with a can Mace, but the shop owner and his son, that's a different story. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes!! Nasty buisness really, but sure enough, I got the M&Ms and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

No 88 by Czech & Speake is a true gem of a fragrance. The "clove rose" note is so memorable. This is a fragrance for dressy occasions in my opinion. Some say it smells like the fragrance Count Dracula would wear but I don't find it to be that dark and ominous. It is unusual for sure, but in a classy, amazing way.

The scent is great but after only a few sprays, the bottle would not emit any more cologne. I'm very disappointed in my purchase especially after paying so much for one bottle.

Have worn 88 for over 20 years and love it. Used to buy from the store on Jermyn St, but then emigrated from London to tge US, so was either buying on trips home or having it brought out by visitors. Then I found it here, for the same price. Very happy

It was my "signature scent" thirty or so years ago and will become my signature scent again. I've tried Byredo, Creed, Tom Ford and others and nothing comes close!
