We had breakaway collars on our cat for years which he constantly got out of and was losing. This collar is not breakaway, stays on, and has a nice attached metal plate with his name and our number. It also came with a separate metal tag. We got the green color and it has reflective material attached. There is also a nice bell to help keep track of him. He seems comfortable with it. Highly recommend!

I bought my first personalized dog collar from MJJY Pet 6 years ago. I have rescued three more dogs that I decided to give a good home and bought each one a collar. I give the collars a 5*. These collars are stylish,durable and holds up well.The leather is soft and the script is perfect. I call these collars a necklace to my girls and they love wearing it.

Very good quality size runs true and the bell is big enough to hear.

Pros:Stylish - got the red. Micro fiber material looks like frikin' leather!Beefy - seems heavy enough for a medium dog on a chain, honestly. Very robust materials.High Reflectivity - full sewn on bright reflective band, not embossed print. Because drivers.Buckle Design - instead of break away.Info Placard - instead of a hanging tag.Hanging Tag - you get one of these too with the same info on it.Cons:Too Beefy - steel buckle, chain link, tag are too thick, heavy for a small cat. I cut off chain link to lighten.No Bell - now I'm thinking this really is a dog collar advertised for cats.Placard - feels like soft aluminum, info is laser SINTERED, not engraved on the tags and will rub off in time.Shipping - took a week longer than anticipated.Hanging Tag - this sucker is thick, heavy steel, feels like a fishing weight. Too heavy to use for my small cat.

Just got this yesterday for our 10 year old adult male cat who insists on going outside for a couple of hours a day.His other collar had huge vet ID tags and I was afraid that he would get them hung up in the top of our fence or something.This collar is nice,seems to be well made,but is thick and stiff.I ordered the xs and I'll be honest, its almost too small for my 14lb cat.He is on the last notch, so I had to get creative to make sure that the end of the collar stays out of the way and doesn't hang down.The collar does reflect well,however,I feel that over time he will scratch the reflective material off,he has already begun to do so.I'm not mad about this because I believe these collars are designed for dogs anyways and not fornsharp,for sharp, cat claws.lolI'm hoping it will break in a little and not be so stiff and uncomfortable looking.Because I like the riveted ID on the collar and I like that it is so well made and reflective,considering my grumpy old cat insists on being outside maintaining his property from other neighborhood cats.lolOne thing I plan to try and change is the fact that the tag attached to the collar is straight and not curved,it makes the collar awkward and not fit well.I'll try to bend a curve into it The smaller round tag that comes with it is nice and is small enough to hopefully not get caught in things.It came with a ring to attach it with,but I did not use the ring,I used a tie strap to lessen the dangle and to keep it up closer to his collar.If you are worried that your cat could get their collar trapped on something and may choke....this is not the collar to use,it is not a cat collar and is not a breakaway collar.It is also wider, thicker and not very flexible or stretchy. So please consider your cat's behavior and energy level before purchasing for a cat or even a puppy. This is a nice, well made collar but, it is not made for every pet.One should always consider their animal's personality before purchasing any type of collar.

While it took a few weeks to get here, I was extremely impressed with the quality of this collar. The custom tag embedded on the collar were inscribed perfectly exactly as I had specified. It was also very securely attached to the collar via studs that go through the collar. I was then surprised that it came with a second tag also inscribed in the same manner but with the tag dangling from the collar. Another surprise was that there is a reflective band on the collar that I didn't realize it had. I tested it with a flashlight and it is VERY effective. The collar itself is good thick leather and with good stitching work. Oh... and it's a small detail, but it also came in a lovely velvet bag. Still such small details show me that this company is very proud of their product as they should be. This is by far the best deal on dog collars so if you're looking for one, do not hesitate to buy from this company as they are absolutely worth it.

Great collar and price. Absolutely love the color and the reflective material. The collar got a little dirty from my girl getting into dirt and into cars but it shows no cracks or any tears. Reflective piece still very much reflective. The metal portion isn’t engraved more like printed on top but hasn’t been scratched off despite the metal having tons of scratches from playing. The extra tag is kind of worthless as it’s the same thing printed on the tag as the collar but collar alone is worth the buy. Nice leather feel and good durability. Would buy again if by some reason it breaks or gets lost.Edit: Somehow cat returned home without her collar and now I’m regretting not buying two. The softness, color and reflective-ness were perfect for indoor/outdoor cats.

I bought 2 cat collars. The description said they had safety buckles and when I asked Rufus if these collars would break away, it said they would. The collars look nice but my cats need breakaway collars because they’ve already had both of their collars breakaway. If the were wearing these collars I purchased, they would have strangled. The description needs to leave out the word “safety”. These collars are NOT safe and they refused to give me a refund. BTW they also come from China so it would cost a fortune to return them. If you want to keep your cats safe, DO NOT buy these collars!!!
